7 Seat Jeep SUV for India rendered

American SUV manufacturer Jeep had recently announced that they will be launching their 2021 facelifted version of Compass SUV in the market on 7th January 2021. The SUV was spotted testing couple of times and will come with an updated front end, new alloys and an updated list of features. After the launch of Compass, Jeep will start working on the 7-seater SUV which will be based on the facelifted Compass. We have seen several render images and videos in the last six months and here we have a latest render from KDesign AG that shows how the upcoming 7-seater SUV from Jeep might look like.

The 7-seater version of the Compass has been spotted testing internationally but, there is no clear picture on how the SUV might look like. Artist has completely imagined the front look of the SUV. The front of the 7-seater SUV looks different from regular Compass. It gets a modern looking seven slat grille design with dual LED projector lamps on either ends. There is an LED DRLs bar that connects the headlamp.

Moving down, the bumper looks very familiar and has a muscular design that we have seen on other Jeep SUVs. A set of LED fog lamps are also placed in the bumper. As we all know, the 7-seater version of Compass is not an entirely new SUV. It uses the same monocoque platform as the regular 5 seater version. It is expected to have a slightly longer wheelbase than normal Compass and the overall length of the SUV will also increase in order to accommodate third row of seat.

Coming to the side profile of the render, the artist has given the SUV a multi spoke gloss black alloy wheel with red calipers. The side profile of the Compass 7-seater looks different from regular Compass. It looks like, the render artist had borrowed this part of the SUV from Lincoln Navigator SUV. The rear of the 7-seater Jeep Compass is also inspired from the Lincoln SUV. The original 7-seater SUV from Jeep is expected to get a revised rear that would not be too different from Compass. The render shows a horizontal LED bar running aross the boot and a big Jeep branding is also seen here.

Moving to the interiors, it would get leather wrapped seats, electrically adjustable driver seat, panoramic sunroof, multi function steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment screen and so on. There is even a possibility that Jeep might even offer captain seats for the middle row passengers.  The upcoming Jeep Compass 7-seater is expected to look a lot different from the render that we see here. The upcoming SUV will be powered by the same 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine but, in the upcoming SUV, it would be in a higher state of tune.

What this would mean is that the same engine that generates 173 Ps power in Jeep Compass will generates even more power in the 7-seater SUV. The engine will be tuned in a way that it will generate about 200 Ps power in the upcoming SUV. The 7-seater version of Compass is expected to be launched in the market some time later next year and will compete with the likes of MG Hector Plus and XUV500 in the market.
