Toyota launched the facelifted Innova at the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi in January 2012. The new Innova is priced in the range of Rs. 9.40 lakh – 13.14 lakh.
The Innova facelift is powered by the same engines that powered the previous model. The 2.5-litre, D4D diesel motor makes 101 bhp of max power and 204 Nm of max torque and the 2-litre petrol motor making 130 bhp of max power and 181 Nm of max torque. The Innova has an ARAI-certified mileage of 12.99 kmpl.

Premium look: The new Innova has lot of chrome, especially at the front grille and the new headlamps. This gives the Innova, a premium as well as a mature look.
Refreshed rear: The Innova facelift gets redesigned taillamps that renders a fresh feel to the otherwise bland structure. The ‘Innova’ embossed chrome garnish at the rear is an integral part of Toyota’s design language in its India-specific cars. The Etios, Liva and the Fortuner have them already.
Premium interiors: The new Innova’s interiors too look fresh and soothing. The beige upholstery and faux wood inserts give the Innova a premium feel on the inside as well.
Touch screen system: The new Innova gets six inch touch screen DVD system connected to six speakers. The system also supports Bluetooth, auxiliary input and playing music via USB.
Steering mounted audio controls: The Innova facelift has leather wrapped steering wheel with silver accents. The audio controls, phone controls and MID controls are neatly laid out for easy access.
USB/Aux-in jack: The new Innova has USB and Aux-in jack placed ahead of the gear lever, adjacent to the 12 V power socket. The iPod or MP3 player can thus be connected to the car’s music system.
Automatic Climate Control: The 2012 Innova comes with automatic climate control system. Together with the individual AC vents for second and third row, the climate control system ensures that the entire occupants feel comfortable.
Rear camera: The Innova facelift version has rear camera that aids in reverse parking. The touch screen acts as the reverse camera screen giving details of the objects behind the Innova.
Airbags and ABS: The new Innova has dual SRS airbags for the driver and front passenger. ABS avoids locking of wheels during panic braking.
