A closer look at the 5 door Maruti Jimny showing all the details [Video]

The launch of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, which is the brand’s first lifestyle off-roader designed for public sale, is just around the corner. With the launch being this close, a ton of people on YouTube are sharing their reviews of the car. Most recently, another one of the most popular vloggers in the country shared a detailed walkaround of this forthcoming SUV. The video shows the SUV from all angles, and the vlogger talks about all the unique features offered by the brand in this new lifestyle off-roader.

The in-depth walkaround video of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been shared on YouTube by Her Garage on their channel. The video starts off with the introduction, where the vlogger mentions that she is doing this walkaround in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. After the introduction, she starts off at the front of the SUV and mentions that Maruti Suzuki will be offering a ton of chrome embellishments on the front of the Jimny. She adds that the headlight surrounds and grille surrounds are all finished in chrome. She then shows the projector headlamp setup along with halogen fog lamps and turn indicators. She adds that the Jimny gets a premium feature in the front, which is a headlight washer. She also mentions that the car gets a matte black front bumper and skid plate.

Following this, she moves on to the side of the Jimny and states that it comes equipped with a set of 15-inch alloy wheels finished in a gunmetal grey color. She adds that these alloy wheels from the factory come wrapped around with street tires from Bridgestone. She then shows that the fenders and lower portion of the Jimny come with thick black claddings. The vlogger then shows the gloss black mirror and the gloss black roof. She adds that the car also gets request sensors on both doors, and for the door handles, it still gets the old flappy-style door handles.

The presenter then moves on to the rear of the SUV and mentions that the Jimny gets a radio antenna on the right end of the roof, and it also gets a high-mounted rear brake light and a washer for the rear windscreen just beside it. She also adds that it comes equipped with a rear wiper, which is hidden behind the spare wheel mounted on the rear door. Following this, she mentions that the car also gets four reverse parking sensors, halogen bulbs for reverse, brake, and turn indicator lights.

The vlogger then shows the rear boot of the car and mentions that the space can be increased by folding down the rear two seats. Following this, she shows the front two seats of the car and the dashboard layout. She then mentions all the details of the interior and states that the car comes fairly equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic air conditioning system, controls for off-road modes, and a ton of other creature comforts. She also shows the off-road gear selector and mentions that the Jimny will come with Suzuki’s famed AllGrip four-wheel-drive system, which includes a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox.

She then shows the engine of the car and states that the Jimny will come equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated K15B petrol engine, producing a maximum power output of 105 PS and a maximum torque output of 138 Nm. The engine comes with two transmission choices: a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.
