Toyota finally launched the facelifted version of Fortuner SUV in the Indian market recently. Toyota not just launched the Fortuner but, also introduced the premium looking Legender in the market. The facelifted 2021 version of Fortuner has already started reaching the dealerships. The price for updated Toyota Fortuner now starts at Rs 29.98 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 37.58 lakh, ex-showroom. As mentioned above, the Fortuner and Legender have started reaching dealerships and here we have video that shows both SUVs in stockyard of a Toyota dealership.
The video has been uploaded by Rock through Tech on their youtube channel. The video shares images of both Fortuner and Legender SUV in a slideshow format. In this video, both the SUVs can be seen parked in front of a Toyota dealership. Toyota has made cosmetic changes to Fortuner and tried to give it a fresh look. It definitely looks a lot more aggressive from the front than before. It gets a sleeker looking headlight unit with projector LED headlamps. The front grille is redesigned and looks a lot more sharp. The chrome garnish on both ends of the grille give it a premium touch.

The bumper has been redesigned too. It looks a lot more sharper and has black colour honey comb design around LED fog lamps. The silver coloured skid plate is also enhancing the overall look of the SUV. Coming to the side profile, the overall design of the SUV remains the same. It gets a new set of chrome metallic finish alloys. Other than that, it gets an updated split LED tail light and a revised bumper with halogen lamps in it.
On the inside, overall layout of the cabin remains the same. Toyata offers Fortuner with single tone interiors. It now comes with features like ventlated seats, updated touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, premium 11 speaker audio system from JBL and so on.
The Legender on the other hand is a bit more sportier looking version of regular Fortuner. It is not available with 4×4 option. The front of Legender gets a split grille with gloss black inserts in it. The chrome inserts on the front and rear have been blacked out in Legender. The headlight gets unique looking LED DRLs with quad LED projector headlamps. The bumper also looks a bit different from the regular Fortuner. The SUV gets the same 18 inch alloy wheels but they are of a different design than regular Fortuner. It gets dual tone machine cut alloy wheels. Legender is also available in dual tone paint schemes whereas the Fortuner is available in monotone paint schemes.
On the inside, it gets all the features that Fortuner offers plus it gets ambient lighting and wireless phone charger. The interiors of the Legender gets a dual tone finish to give it a premium and sporty feel. Fortuner and Legender are powered by the same set of engines but, Legender is only available with a diesel engine with automatic transmission (only 4×2).
Fortuner is powered by a 2.7 litre petrol engine that generates 166 Ps and 245 Nm of torque. Diesel version is powered by a 2.8 litre engine that generates 204 Ps and 500 Nm of torque. This is more than older generation. Both diesel and petrol get manual and automatic transmission whereas only the diesel is available with a 4×4 option.
