Kamal Haasan also shared a two page letter for the director which was hand written. The letter said,

Dear Lokesh,

There is a reason that I haven’t addressed you with a formal salutation. I have assumed the role of Mr Kanagaraj and taken the right to address you this way without your consent since this is a personalised letter. On the public front, the due respect for your achievements will always be there.

I am often criticised for wanting my fans to be distinct from others. But I am impressed with how one of my foremost fans turned out to be a foremost talent in our industry. This is actually something a lot more than what I’d desired from my fans.

A lot of people, including me, might tell you that they have no words to describe your achievements. Don’t believe them. One look at YouTube, where there are people giving you garlands of praise, is enough for people to pluck a few words to praise you.

I sincerely wish all of this would continue in your film journey.

Always be vigilant, unique, and hungry. You will keep attaining the success you want, always.

Lexus sells the ES300H in two variants. There is Exquisite which is priced at Rs. 56.65 lakhs and then there is Luxury which costs Rs. 61.85 lakhs. Both the prices are ex-showroom. The main rivals of Lexus ES300H are Jaguar XF, Volvo S90, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. Lokesh’s Lexus is finished in black colour. We do not know which variant Kamal Haasan opted for.

Lexus has equipped the ES300H with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that is mated to a hybrid powertrain. The engine produces 178 hp of max power and 221 Nm of peak torque. Then there is a permanent magnet motor which can produce 120 PS and 202 Nm. The motor is powered by a Nickel – Metal Hydride battery. Having said that, you cannot simply add the power and torque outputs of the engine and electric motor. Lexus says that the combined power output is 218 Ps. The luxury sedan is only offered with an e-CVT automatic transmission with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Moreover, there are three driving modes. There are Normal, Eco and Sport.

As standard, the luxury sedan comes with Bi-beam LED static headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps, cornering lamps, LED tail lamps, moon roof, leather upholstery, electric adjustment for the front seats, heated seats, digital multi-information display, ambient lighting, anti-glare rearview mirror, ventilated front seats, cruise control, electronic parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, three-zone climate control, 10 speaker system and much more.

If you upgrade to the Luxury variant then Lexus adds a 3-eye design Bi-beam dynamic LED headlamps, a 17-speaker system from Mark Levinson, a wireless charger and coloured heads up display.

For safety, there are front and rear parking sensors, 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking camera, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Impact Sensing Fuel Cut and Emergency Brake Signal.
