Sunroof has become a premium feature in India. However, now even compact-SUVs and even a premium hatchback like the Hyundai i20 is now offering an electric sunroof. So, manufacturers have now started offering panoramic sunroofs on their vehicles. Today we list down 10 cars that come with a panoramic sunroof.

Hyundai Creta

Hyundai Creta is the best selling mid-size SUV in the Indian market. It is currently the cheapest SUV that offers a panoramic sunroof. For the panoramic sunroof, you would have to buy the SX variant which will cost you Rs. 13.79 lakhs ex-showroom.

Tata Harrier

Tata Harrier received a substantial update last year and with it came a panoramic sunroof. You would have to opt for the XZ Plus variant that offers the panoramic sunroof. It costs Rs. 19.05 lakhs ex-showroom.

Tata Safari

The Safari made a comeback this year. It is now a more premium vehicle than a more capable SUV. Tata also offers the Safari with a panoramic sunroof. It is available in the XT+ variant that costs Rs. 18.25 lakhs ex-showroom.

MG Hector

MG was one of the first mid-size SUVs to offer a panoramic sunroof in the segment. It is only offered in the top-end ‘Sharp’ variant that costs Rs. 17.09 lakhs ex-showroom.

MG Hector Plus

The Hector Plus comes with a third-row and is essentially a Hector underneath. It is offered in the ‘Sharp’ variant that costs Rs. 17.84 lakhs ex-showroom.


The MG ZS EV is the only electric vehicle in the Indian market to offer a panoramic sunroof. The SUV also got an update this year. It is offered with the top-end ‘Exclusive’ variant which costs Rs. 24.18 lakhs ex-showroom.

Jeep Compass

Jeep updated the Compass this year. With it came a new and much-improved interior while there were no mechanical changes. The panoramic sunroof is offered with the Limited(O) variant which costs Rs. 22.49 lakhs ex-showroom.

Volkswagen T-Roc

Volkswagen T-Roc is a mid-size SUV that is available in only one variant which is fully loaded. The SUV was first introduced in India in March 2020 and it sold out in just two months. It is imported to India and it costs Rs. 21.35 lakhs ex-showroom.

Upcoming Kia Seltos

Kia introduced the Seltos back in 2019 and it was an instant hit. It took the number one spot from the Hyundai Creta. However, Creta got an update and took its number one spot back and the sales of the Seltos are also slowly declining for which Kia has a plan. They will soon be launching an update for the Seltos which will bring a Panoramic Sunroof. As of now, the SUV is only available with an electric sunroof. The updated Kia Seltos is expected to be unveiled sometime in April.

Upcoming Hyundai Alcazar

The Alcazar will be revealed in Rajasthan on 7th April.

Upcoming Mahindra 2021 XUV500

Mahindra will be launching the 2021 XUV500 this year. It will also come with a massive panoramic sunroof which is expected to be one of the largest in the segments. As of now the launch date of the SUV is not known.
