Aftermarket accessories for Tata Punch micro SUV on video

Tata launched their all-new micro SUV Punch in the market recently. The car has already reached dealerships and the deliveries for the same has also started. Tata Punch competes with cars like Mahindra KUV100 and Maruti Ignis in the segment. It has already become a popular SUV as it was rated as the safest car in India with 5 star rating by Global NCAP. Aftermarket accessories for Tata Punch has already started arriving in the market and here we have a video that shows what all are the available options, if you are planning to modify a lower or mid variant of Tata Punch.

The video has been uploaded by Get Install on their YouTube channel. Video starts with vlogger showing two Tata Punch micro SUV that are parked outside the accessories shop. One of them was the top-end manual version which comes with dual tone colour options, while the other was Adventure trim which is the mid variant.

Vlogger shows what all customisations have been done to both the cars. The top-end variant did not get any feature updates as it was already loaded. It got basic upgrades like 7D floor mats, custom fit leatherette seat covers with extra cushioning, steering cover, scuff plates and ambient lights in it.

The owner of the shop at which the modification work was being done said that they also do damping on the door to improve the cabin experience. He said in the video that removing the original touchscreen for aftermarket unit in top-end variant is not recommended as it ruins the overall design of the cabin. Speakers are also available for improving the music experience in the car.

He then mentioned that steering mounted controls are available for Tata Punch lower trims. Options to activate cruise control in the lower variants are also available in the market. Video then shows all the options that are available for Tata Punch in terms of light. The owner mentions that the lower variants come with regular lamps instead of LED DRLs and these can be replaced units LED lights at the workshop.

Aftermarket headlamps and fog lamps are also available and shown in the video. There is dual colour fog lamp with ring type dual function LED DRL around it. LED lights are available for headlamps in lower variants and one can also upgrade to projector units. The owner mentions that these are all plug and play unit and there is no need to cut any of the existing wires.

Video also shows a variety of aftermarket touchscreen infotainment systems that can be installed on the lower variants of Tata Punch. Lower variants come with 15 inch steel rims while the top-end version gets a 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels. Lower variants can be installed with aftermarket alloy wheels as well.

Tata Punch is available in seven colour options and it is available in Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative trims. The Punch is offered with a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated three cylinder petrol engine that generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque. The engine is available with 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option.
