The pictures of the popular cricketer taking delivery of his new Mercedes SUV, worth Rs 3.5 crore, have been shared online by the dealership. With this new purchase, Ajinkya Rahane has become the first Indian cricketer to bring home a Mercedes Maybach GLS 600.

The post was shared with a caption stating, “We’re delighted to see the batting maestro return to the Auto Hangar family, this time driving away in another stunning Mercedes-Benz. It’s always an honor to serve a valued customer like @ajinkyarahane, and we couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of his journey.” In the pictures, Ajinkya was seen with his wife, Radhika Dhopavkar, and a goodie bag from the dealership.

At the moment, the exact options chosen by Ajinkya Rahane are unknown. However, like most Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 owners, Rahane could have opted for a few optional extra features for his luxury SUV.

The Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 from the factory comes loaded with luxury features, and the main highlight of this SUV is its reclining rear seats. The Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 draws its power from a 4.0-liter V8 engine that features a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine generates a maximum power of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system adds another 22 PS and a 250 Nm boost on demand. The power is sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
