Akshay Kumar’s car collection: From Rolls Royce to Honda!

Akshay Kumar is among the biggest stars of Bollywood currently. He was known for his action scenes and stunt sequences in movies. Like many other people of the Bollywood fraternity, he also owns a range of cars that include many top names of the auto industry. Akshay has been known to maintain a pretty low key personal life and enjoys his free time with his family. Because of this, not many know all all his cars and daily drives. Let’s take a look at the various vehicles the actor uses.

Mercedes GLS

The car seen above is a Mercedes GLS SUV which Akshay Kumar owns. Finished in white paint shade, it seems to be the latest addition to his garage. The GLS is the biggest SUV from the house of Mercedes and is pretty expensive too. It has a starting price of Rs 85.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powering the massive SUV is a 3-liter V6 engine that produces a maximum power of 258 bhp along with a peak torque of 620 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. The GLS is a very capable off roader along with having very comfortable interiors.

Porsche Cayenne

The Cayenne is among the top selling vehicle by Porsche and is owned by a lot of famous celebrities. Akshay Kumar is also a proud owner of one, though his is an older generation of the Porsche Cayenne. The latest variant of the luxury SUV starts at Rs 1.19 crore and goes all the way up to Rs 1.92 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). Talking of the powertrain, the Cayenne Turbo variant is powered by a 4.0-liter, V8, twin-turbo petrol engine with a maximum power of 550 Bhp along with a peak torque of 770 Nm.

Rolls Royce Phantom

The Rolls Royce Phantom is the epitome of luxury automobiles. It is also the most expensive car sold in India currently, commanding a price of Rs. 9.50 crores for the current generation model. Akshay has a last-generation Phantom and is among the few Bollywood actors to have one. It is powered by a 6.8-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine that produces 453 Bhp of power along with 720 Nm of torque. the engine comes mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission and power is sent to the rear wheels only.

Bentley Continental Flying Spur

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is the sedan version of the Continental GT coupe. Akshay Kumar owns an older generation of the car and though it is not as opulent as the Phantom, it still is among the most luxurious cars around the globe. Prices of the Flying Spur start at Rs 3.41 crore for the base model while the 12 cylinder engine model costs Rs. 3.93 crores. The Flying Spur is powered by a 6-liter W12 engine that churns out 616 Bhp of power and 800 Nm of torque.

Range Rover Vogue

Another highly luxurious and capable SUV that the actor owns is the Range Rover Vogue. Currently, the Vogue costs at least Rs 2.18 crore (ex-showroom) and is a direct rival to the likes of the Porsche Cayenne. The top-of-the-line model of the Vogue comes with a 5-liter, supercharged, V8 petrol engine that outputs a maximum power of 503 Bhp along with a peak torque of 635 Nm. The Vogue is very capable both on and off the road.

Mercedes GL350 CDI

While Khiladi Kumar seems to have added a GLS to his garage, he also owns the GL350 CDI. He has been seen driving this SUV on many occasions. The GL is the predecessor to the GLS and is a capable machine. It’s powered by a 3.0 liter V6 Diesel engine that produces 255 Bhp and 620 Nm

Honda CR-V

Among all the bigwigs and heavyweights of his garage, a modest Honda CR-V also makes its presence as Akshay’s car. The actor is seen many times in this car and the CR-V seems to be his daily driver. The reliable and comfortable softroader is a very good car. The current generation CR-V gets powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine that outputs 152 Bhp of power and 188 Nm of Torque. The CR-V range starts in India at Rs 28.15 lakh.
