All-new 2018 Ducati Monster 821 naked superbike launched in India

Ducati has just launched the all-new Monster 821 naked superbike in India. Prices start from Rs. 9.51 lakhs, ex-showroom India. Bookings are now open at all Ducati dealerships across the country. The Monster 821 is imported as a completely built unit (CBU) from Thailand, benefiting from the Indo-Thai free trade agreement, and this has allowed Ducati to price the iconic, streetfighter motorcycle quite competitively. Deliveries will start from early June 2018.

As for competition, the Ducati Monster 821 takes on the Triumph Street Triple 657, the Kawasaki Z900 and the recently launched Suzuki GSX-R 750. While all the competing motorcycles are liquid cooled, the Monster is the only air-cooled motorcycle, giving it a distinct flavour.

Sergio Canovas Garriga, the MD of Ducati India, said,

For the last 25 years, the Monster has consistently delighted biking enthusiasts across the world. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Monster and we’re very proud to introduce the new Monster 821 in India, in this special year.
