All-new 2018 Hyundai Santro: Detailed photo gallery

Hyundai has launched the all-new Santro in the Indian market. The much-awaited car has been launched at a price of Rs. 3.9 lakhs, ex-showroom, India and competes with the likes of Tata Tiago, Maruti WagonR and the Renault Kwid. Santro has been much talked about in the past and gets many segment-first features. Here is a detailed picture gallery of the 2018 Santro.

The all-new Santro looks nothing like the older model. It looks fresh and gets a lot of creases on the body.

The all-new Hyundai Santro gets the family cascade design grille up front. The chrome grille looks similar to the new Hyundai cars like the Verna and is enclosed in a new black cladding. The fog lamps are designed in a way that they look like extended part of the grille.

It gets a flowing window line and large front and rear windows. The side of the body gets deep creases to add a sporty look. Hyundai will not offer alloy wheels with the Santro even on the top-end Asta model. Only 14-inch steel rim with wheel cover is offered.

The rear of the all-new Santro looks clean. It gets tail lamp cluster just below the windshield and a black insert in the bumper.

Hyundai will offer as many as 7 colours with the all-new Santro.

This is the Diana Green special edition from the brand. Apart from the striking exterior colour, it also gets a special black and green interior. It even gets green seat belts!

The all-new Santro is powered by a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum of 69 PS and 99 Nm. There is a CNG variant too but it produces lesser power at 59 PS and 77 Nm.

The all-new Santro is the first Hyundai car to offer AMT automatic transmission. It is only offered with the petrol variants. There are five trims and 9 variants.

The all-new Santro returns a maximum fuel efficiency of 20.3 km/l as certified by ARAI. It is lower than Maruti Suzuki Celerio, which is rated at 23.1 km/l.

The Santro offers dual-tone interior and comes with segment-first 7-inch touchscreen infotainments system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

It gets a boot space of 253 litres.

The all-new Santro is bigger in size, which allows the rear passengers to sit comfortably.

It also gets segment-first rear AC vents.
