Hyundai is the second largest car manufacturer in Indian market. They have a variety of models in their portfolio. The manufacturer launched an all-new version of their mid-size SUV Creta in the market last year. The all-new Creta competes with SUVs like Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector in the segment. Just like its older generation model, new-gen Hyundai Creta also became popular among buyers for its design and features. Unlike Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta is not available in a GT trim or version. Here we have a video that shows how Creta might look like if Hyundai were to launch a GT Edition of the SUV.
The video has been uploaded by Cars N Mods on their youtube channel. The render artist took the Creta (known as ix25 in chinese market) for this purpose. He straight away starts with the tri-beam headlamps of the SUV. He retains the LED DRLs but replaces the headlamps with an entirely new unit. It now looks a lot more sharper than the regular tri-beam projector lamps. The artist then carves out a small air duct under the headlamp. The grille of the Creta is different from the Indian version.

The fog lamp and the turn indicators are placed on the lower part of the bumper. There is a small garnish around that as well. Moving to the bonnet of the SUV, there is a long antenna placed on it. Apart from that, there is a red colour GT badge on the front grille too. Moving to the side profile, the dual tone Venue like alloy wheels have been replaced with large all black sporty looking units. There is body colour outline on the rim as well.
The other noticeable change here is the Sport badge on the lower part of the front door. Other than that, no major changes are done to the Hyundai Creta. The wheels and the new design to headlamps have completely changed the look of the Creta. This is just a product of artist’s imagination and Hyundai currently has no plans to launch GT edition in it.
Coming back to Hyundai Creta, it is currently the most popular mid-size SUV in the segment. It is one of the most feature loaded SUV you can buy in this segment. It comes with Remote engine start/stop, BlueLink connected car services, wireless charging, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, integrated air purifier and so on.
Hyundai Creta is available with a variety of engine options too. Hyundai Creta gets two petrol and one diesel engine option. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115 Ps and 144 Nm of torque. This engine option is available with manual and iVT (Hyundai’s version of CVT) gearbox options. The diesel engine on offer is also a 1.5 litre unit that generates 115 Ps and 250 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a manual and 6-speed automatic transmission option. The last engine on offer is a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine. It is the most powerful engine available in Creta and generates 140 Ps and 242 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox option only.
