Hyundai will be launching the all-new Verna on the 22nd of this month. While the company showcased a few segment first features last week, we now have the leaked brochure of the Verna, courtesy a Team bhp member.
There will be a total of two engine options on offer on the new Verna. The petrol will be the same 1.6 liter one that is currently on offer, making 122 Bhp and 155 Nm while the diesel will also be the same 1.6 liter unit which is on offer making 126 Bhp and 260 Nm. The vehicle will be equipped with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 6-speed will replace the 4-speed which is on offer currently. Unlike what was being reported earlier, the rear brakes will be drums.
There are a total of 4 grades that are on offer. E, EX, SX and SX (O).
Petrol variants: E, EX (MT/AT), SX, SX(O) (MT/AT). Only 2 variants are on offer with automatic transmission.
Diesel variants: E,EX (MT/AT), SX(MT/AT), SX(O). While the diesel has 2 automatic variants as well, the top of the line will not be offered with an automatic transmission.
All variants will be equipped with dual airbags and have ABS. Top of the line variant will also get side and curtain airbags. All variants except the base will have rear parking sensors and rear camera too. The SX and SX (O) models will be fitted with LED tail lamps and projector headlamps with LED DRLs.
When it comes to infotainment, the EX trim comes with a 5″ touch screen system while the SX and SX(O) trims will get a 7″ system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The top of the line variant will be equipped with connected car technology and will also have ventilated seats. There will also be a sunroof on offer on the top of the line variant (SX AT will also get it).
There will be a total of 7 colours on offer, 4 new and 3 old. Pricing will only be known on the 22nd when the car is officially launched.
