2023 Kia Carnival
Internationally the new gen Kia Carnival has been available for quite sometime now and its primary talking point is its whole new exterior appearance. The luxury MPV has received a thorough redesign and now maintains the boxy SUV style that has become synonymous with Kia. The redesigned “tiger nose” grille from Kia with integrated cutting-edge LED headlights will be one of the highlights of this new vehicle.
The next-gen Carnival will also boast large wheel arches and a pronounced bodyline linking the front and rear lighting. The Carnival will also get large two-tone mirrors and black/chrome side panel mouldings. It will have a skid plate, reflectors, completely LED taillights, and a whole new rear bumper. It will also be available with 17- and 19-inch wheels.
Similar to its exterior, the next-gen Kia Carnival will have an entirely new interior, with two 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and the instrument panel, a brand-new dashboard with wood trim, and a dual-tone Beige and Brown colour scheme. A brand-new design will also be featured on the centre console. The new Carnival will still come standard with multi-zone temperature control, motorised folding rear doors, and twin sunroofs. The luxurious MPV will include seating arrangements for 7, 9, and 11.
Kia Sorento
Regarding the Sorento, it has also been on the market in other countries for a while now. The fourth version of this seven-seater SUV, which Kia completely remodeled utilising style influences from the Telluride, the company’s premium SUV, will be unveiled this month. The Sorento receives larger Tiger Nose black grilles with chrome surrounds on the front in addition to sleeker LED headlamps. It also gets an aggressive front bumper with uniquely stacked fog lamps and LED Daytime Running Lights.
Interantionally the Sorento comes availble with four powertrain options. These include a 1.6 litre turbo petrol-hybrid combo, a 1.6 litre plug-in hybrid, a 2.2 litre turbo diesel and a 2.5 litre turbo petrol non-hybrid. If the company does decide to bring this to the country it will most likely rival the likes of the XUV700 and Tata Safari and compete in the Rs 20-30 lakh range.
