All-new Mahindra XUV500: This is what it may look like [Video]

Mahindra will soon launch the all-new XUV500 in the Indian market. The all-new car is currently under development with Ford. The all-new Mahindra XUV500 may look much bigger than the current version of the car, which is on sale in the market. Mahindra has not put a timeline on the launch but it is expected to be launched by the end of 2020. A rebadged version of the car will be sold under the Ford brand too.

This rendering image has been made by using the current-generation Mahindra XUV500 as a base. While we may an all-new body style with the generation upgrade.

This rendering image indicates that the rear of the Mahindra XUV500 may get an all-LED treatment with sleek tail lamp setup. The shape of the tailgate has also been updated. However, the overall shape of the car remains the same in the rendering image.

The all-new Mahindra XUV500 will likely get an all-new face with an all-new grille at the front. It will also get a new aggressive bumper and new set of headlamps, which will be much better looking than the other current-generation model. The shape of the Mahindra XUV500 is also likely to be updated and it will offer a much more intimidating look on the roads. The new XUV500 will also become much more spacious than the current version of the car.

Mahindra is developing an all-new platform for the next-generation XUV500. Even the engines will come from Mahindra while Ford will develop a new telematics system for the all-new SUV. Mahindra is developing an all-new 2.0-litre diesel engine that will be used to power the next-generation of Mahindra SUVs including the all-new Thar, all-new Scorpio and the all-new XUV500. With the new engine, the Mahindra XUV500 is expected to generate around a maximum of 180 Bhp. It will be an all-new BS6 compliant engine. Since Mahindra XUV500 is currently available in both 2WD and AWD versions, the all-new XUV500 is likely to offer the same. It is not known if the all-new XUV500 will offer a petrol engine option. However, there will be a choice of manual and automatic transmission options.
