All-new Maruti Dzire sketch released

Maruti is in the process of unveiling the all-new Dzire. The vehicle has already been spied a few times and has also been spotted undisguised as the car heads to dealerships ahead of the launch. The company has released an official sketch of the car now, to show us how the car will look like.

What do we know?

All-new Maruti Dzire sketch released

While the vehicle is yet to be launched, we already know a few things about the car. For starters, it will get fresh looks, which are similar to that on the new Swift. There will be more use of chrome on this one though. The headlamps now get LED DRLs, which make the car look sporty. The rear is all-new too, which looks a lot more proportionate than the previous model.

On the inside, there are massive changes that have taken place. There is an all-new dashboard that houses a touch screen system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto (most likely). You also have a new instrument cluster and a 3-spoke steering wheel with wooden accents, that looks very premium. This is something that a lot of new buyers are going to like. There is a wooden trim on the dashboard as well. From the looks of it, Maruti has really upped the ante with the interiors of this car and is certainly taking it to the next level.

Under the hood, we expect the same 1.2 liter K-Series petrol engine and 1.3 liter DDiS engine to do duty. We expect the company to skip the SHVS, given they said that they are still considering it for their smaller cars. The car that was snapped had an automatic gearbox, which makes us believe that the car will continue to have a petrol automatic and diesel automatic, like the current one has.

Launch?

The company will be launching the car sometime next month. According to reports, that is expected to take place on the 25th of May.
