All-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio image gallery

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the all-new Celerio and it has become the most fuel-efficient car in the country. The all-new Celerio is available only with a single engine option and the price starts at Rs 4.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Here is a detailed image gallery of the car revealing all the details.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio gets the new HEARTECT platform. The new generation platform underpins several other Maruti Suzuki products in India. With the new platform, the overall shape of the car has changed as well. It now gets a more rounded design leaving boxy design language behind.

The length and height of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio remain similar to the outgoing model. However, it is now wider than before. The all-new Celerio is about 55mm wider and gets a longer wheelbase as well. The front end gets a single chrome slat with chunky headlamps.

The rear is also all-new and the curvy tailgate gets a flap-type handle. The all-new Celerio comes with halogen tail lamps and there is a rear washer and wiper as well.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will come with a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10C Dualjet engine. It is based on the same engine that was available with the Baleno RS before it was discontinued in the market. The engine generates a maximum power of 49kW (66.62 PS) at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 89 Nm. It is the first car to get the auto start-stop feature.

The engine will come with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, which Maruti Suzuki likes to call as AGS.

The all-new Celerio is the most fuel-efficient petrol car in the Indian market. It gets a certified fuel efficiency of 26.68 km/l according to ARAI and it has been tested by an external agency as well.

The new Celerio comes with 15-inch black coloured alloy wheels with the top-end variant. It also gets turn indicators integrated into the ORVMs and the pull-type door handles now give way to the older flap-type ones.

The dashboard has completely changed as well. It now gets a new touchscreen infotainment system, new instrument cluster, new air vents and even new upholstery that gives a fresh look and feel to the car.

With the longer wheelbase, the cabin space has increased as well. There is more shoulder room and legroom for the rear passengers. The boot space has increased by whopping 78 litres.

The new Celerio comes with an automatic climate control system, steering-mounted control, and cubby holes all over to store small items.

All the variants of the new Celerio will offer dual-front airbags as standard. There are additional features like ABS and ISOFIX mounts as well.

The all-new Celerio will come in six different colour choices.
