It will also get a longer wheelbase and wider cabin, which will translate into a much bigger cabin compared to the current-generation of the car.

The all-new Celerio will look much different from the current version of the model. It will become more futuristic in design and we may get to see a muscular design to attract young customers. The Celerio sits above the Alto model in the line-up.

The cabin will get some drastic changes to look very different from the current version. While there are no details on how the all-new Celerio will look like from inside but it will not be much different from the WagonR.

Currently, only the 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine is available with the Celerio in the market. However, the all-new model is expected to get the more powerful 1.2-litre engine option too. We may also get to see CNG variants of the all-new Celerio in the market. The Celerio takes on the likes of Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro in the market but with the all-new Celerio growing in size, it can even take on the likes of Hyundai Grand i10.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be launched in the Indian market in October, which is a festive season. With the slowdown in the automobile market, especially because of the lockdowns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the manufacturers are lining up launches in the festive season. A lot of customers plan their car purchases during the festive season as it is deemed auspicious.
