Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is one of the popular SUVs in the sub-4 meter segment. The compact SUV competes with cars like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 in the segment. Last year, Maruti launched the BS6 verison of the SUV with some cosmetic changes along with a petrol engine. Maruti Suzuki is working on an all-new version of Vitara Brezza and according to several media reports, the manufacturer is likely to launch the new version early in 2022. The SUV has been spotted testing recently and here we have a video that shows how the SUV might actually look like.
The video has been shared by CAR CARE TIPS on their YouTube channel. The video shows several digital renders on how the next-generation or the all-new Vitara Brezza would look like. Starting with the front, the render shows completely different design when compared to the existing model. It still has the boxy design language but, the front gets a fresh look.

The SUV gets a redesigned grille that extend towards the LED DRLs and turn indicators. The headlamps are placed on the bumper like many modern cars and the projector fog lamps are positioned on the lower part of the bumper. The front gets a split grille and there are chrome elements in there. The lower part of the bumper also gets a skid plate.
Moving to the side profile, the render shows a thick cladding around the wheel arches and the lower portion of the doors. This gives the SUV a muscular look. A turn indicator is placed next to the front fender as well. Brezza branding can be seen on the lower part of the front door and the redesigned ORVMs now come with LED turn indicators. A set of new alloy wheels are also seen in the video.
Coming to the rear, the all-new Brezza gets revised split LED tail laps and a roof mounted spoiler is also seen. The rear design looks simple with Suzuki logo and Brezza branding on the tail gate. The lower portion of the bumper also comes with a faux skid plate.
Maruti Suzuki is working on an all-new Brezza and some of the changes that we expect to see in the car other than the styling are a revised Smart hybrid system. The SUV might get more powerful 48V SHVS hybrid system which would replace the current 12V version. As we all know, SHVS helps in improving the fuel efficiency and a powerful SHVS means better fuel efficiency.
Other change that Maruti is likely to make on the all-new Brezza is the platform itself. Maruti might update the HEARTECT platform to improve the build quality of the SUV. Coming to the engine option. Maruti will only be offering a petrol engine with the SUV. It will use a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 104 bhp and 138 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual and might get a 6-speed automatic transmission which would replace the existing 4-speed unit. Maruti has not announced anything about the launch of the SUV but, it is expected to happen some time next year.
