Toyota has unveiled the all-new Innova HyCross in the Indian market. While the brand is yet to reveal the specifications, and variants officially, they have revealed a lot about the all-new car. Toyota has started accepting bookings for the all-new Innova HyCross officially from today. And this is what the base variant of the car will look like.

Starting with the exterior, the base variant of the new Toyota Innova Hycross looks decent with the inclusion of silver alloy wheels, chrome garnish around the front grille and on the boot lid, wheel arch moulding, shark fin antenna and LED tail lamps. Even on the inside, this base variant gets features like a floating touchscreen infotainment system, TFT MID in the instrument console, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and driver seat height adjustment. It also gets steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, a push start-stop button and electrically adjustable and foldable rearview mirrors, which are usually not seen in the base-spec variants of the vehicles.
Luxurious cabin
Talking about the interior of the base variant of the new Toyota Innova Hycross, the MPV can be seen with a dual-tone combination of black and brown cloth upholstery. However, it is expected that the top-spec variants get the choice of all-black or dual-tone leather upholstery. The base variant here in the pictures can be seen with a flat bench for the second row of seats. However, in all likelihood, the top-spec variants will get the choices of a flat bench and captain seats for the second row.
Some of the premium features of the top-spec variants of the new Toyota Innova Hycross have already been teased by Toyota on its official social media channels. Features like a panoramic sunroof, roof-mounted rear AC vents, dual-zone automatic climate control and wireless charger have already been confirmed for the India-spec Innova Hycross. Also, unlike the current-generation Innova Crysta, the new Innova Hycross will not be available with a diesel powertrain and instead will get the choices of a naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.
Strong hybrid confirmed
The top-end variants of the Innova HyCross will come with a full-hybrid system, which is Toyota’s fifth-generation S-HEV system. It will get a 2.0-litre petrol engine on the Atkinson cycle. The combined power output is 186 PS. The non-hybrid variants will use a 1,987cc engine that generates a maximum power of 174 PS and 197 Nm of peak torque. There will be a CVT gearbox available only.
