Maruti Suzuki is working on the all-new Vitara Brezza and we saw the first glimpse of the car testing on the Indian roads recently. New spy pictures of the all-new Vitara Brezza have surfaced online revealing a bit more about the vehicle.
The new spy images by Rushlane shows that the size of the all-new Vitara Brezza will increase. However, we are not sure by how much since the structure of the car is under the thick camouflage. The silhouette of the car, however, shows that the all-new Vitara Brezza will retain its shape.

The front of the car receives a slim grille and redesigned headlamp clusters. The wheel arches are also flared and that adds a strong muscular look to the car. Nothing more is available on the car at the moment.
Maruti Suzuki will now use the new-generation HEARTECT platform with the Vitara Brezza. The new platform, which makes the Vitara Brezza much lighter than the current version while adding strength to the overall structure of the car.
Six airbags?
According to the rumours, the all-new Vitara Brezza will also come with six airbags as an option with the top-end variant. However, there is no confirmation of the same. Currently, the Vitara Brezza has got the highest rating in the Maruti Suzuki’s model line-up done by the Global NCAP tests. The Vitara Brezza has four stars.
Maruti Suzuki will retain the current 1.5-litre K15B four-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 105 PS. It will come with a new SHVS mild-hybrid system too. The current mild-hybrid system will be upgraded to a new 48V that will make the all-new Vitara Brezza even more fuel-efficient. We can expect to get a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission with the car as well.
We may also get to see the all-new Vitara Brezza selling through the Toyota channels in India. Since it will be an all-new car, Toyota may step in to design certain elements in their own way to provide a distinctive identity to the car. However, the model sharing is yet to be confirmed by any of the manufacturers. Currently, Maruti Suzuki supplies the Baleno, Ertiga and Vitara Brezza to Toyota.
A slew of launches next year
Maruti Suzuki will launch a slew of cars in the Indian market including the new Baleno facelift, all-new Vitara Brezza, Jimny, new Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and a new Creta-rivalling SUV too.
