Festivities are in the air, and it’s that time of the year when most of the launches take place. Here are 15 new cars & SUVs that will be coming our way in November.

Renault Kwid AMT

Renault launched the Kwid with a 1.0 liter engine earlier this year. The main reason behind that was the fact that the 1.0 liter engine can be mated with an AMT. The vehicle was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2016 and is expected next month.

The engine produces 67 Bhp and 91 Nm. The only change will be the lack of the gear lever. Instead of that, there will be a rotary knob on the dashboard.

Skoda Rapid

Skoda will be launching the all new face lifted Rapid on the 3rd of November. The vehicle looks a lot more like the European Rapid and has a lot of styling cues borrowed from the larger Octavia and Superb sedan. Under the hood, the Rapid will get the updated 1.5 liter diesel engine which now makes 110 Bhp. The interiors of the car have also been spruced up a little with the addition of the touchscreen system that supports Mirrorlink.

Maruti Baleno RS

Maruti’s hot hatch to take on the Polo GT and the Punto Abarth will most likely be launched next month. The company had showcased the Baleno RS at the Expo earlier this year and had said that they will launch the vehicle during the festive season.

The highlight of the RS is the 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 108 Bhp and 170 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. In addition to the fire power, the car is also expected to come with rear disc brakes to improve braking performance.

Volkswagen Vento

Like the Rapid, the Vento will also be getting an update. The main reason behind this facelift is to update the engine in order to meet the emission norms. In addition to the 110 Bhp diesel engine, the new vehicle will get LED DRLs like that on the Russian market and a new set of alloy wheels. Everything else is expected to be the same.

Volkswagen Polo GTi

This is certainly one of the most awaited launches among the enthusiasts. A Polo with a 1.8 liter engine making 188 Bhp and 250 Nm is a sweet sounding deal. Though the company has been delaying the launch, sources close to us have informed us that the vehicle will be introduced next month and bookings will soon start for the same.

The GTi will be launched in the 3-door avatar and not the 5-door one. Being a CBU, prices are expected to cross the Rs 20 lakh mark. There is no clarity on the features that will be offered on the Indian variant currently.

Toyota Fortuner

In a bid to take on the newly launched Ford Endeavour, Toyota will launch the all new Fortuner next month. The vehicle will come with both the 2.4 liter (148 Bhp and 343 Nm) and 2.8 liter (172 Bhp and 360 Nm) diesel engines that are on the Innova Crysta and will most likely offer the 2.7 liter (164 Bhp and 245 Nm) petrol engine as well. The new vehicle has much better interiors than the outgoing version and is a lot quicker. Variant and pricing details will only be known on the 7th of next month.

Hyundai Tucson

Hyundai will launch their smaller SUV, the Tucson in India next month. This vehicle is a compact SUV that will take on the CR-V. It is expected to be priced around the 20 lakh mark and will be powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine. Specifications of the engine are not clear as the engine comes in multilpe states of tune.

Mercedes C Class Cabriolet

Mercedes will launch their cheapest convertible, the C Cabriolet next month. The C Cabrio will be launched in the 300 guise which means it features a 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine mated to the new 9 speed gearbox. The C Cabrio is expected to compete against the Audi A3 Cabrio when it is launched on the 9th of November.

Volvo V40/ V40 Cross Country

Volvo V40 Cross Country

Volvo will be updating the V40 twins in India next month. The company had previously revealed that the new models will be launched before the year end. The main change is to the front of the vehicle which now sports the Thor like headlamps. Engines are expected to be the same that are on offer on the current vehicle.

Volvo S90

Volvo will be launching the S90 in India next month. The S90 is a premium sedan that will take on the Audi A6, Merecedes E Class, BMW 5 Series and new Jaguar XF. The S90 will be offered with the same 2.0 liter diesel engine in D4 guise. This means it makes 190 Bhp. Like the XC90, this one will feature the massive tab like touchscreen unit instead of the buttons. This will certainly be an interesting addition to the premium sedan segment.
