One thing that this video proves is that Tigers are incredibly powerful. Xylo is not a light vehicle. In fact, it has a kerb weight of 1,875 kgs and we can see that there are six occupants sitting in the Xylo. So, we can assume that the tiger was pulling almost 2 tonnes.

The battery of the Xylo was dead and the occupants could not get out and push the vehicle because as we can see there are a lot of tigers around the vehicle. Because of this, the Xylo was stranded in the middle of the road. Tigers came out of the jungle because of curiosity and started playing with the vehicle. Eventually, the Xylo was towed safely by the rescue team of Bannerghatta National Park.

Mahindra Xylo

Back in July 2019, Mahindra announced that they will be discontinuing the Xylo because of the BS4 emission norms and stricter crash safety standards. The Xylo was a fairly large SUV. It measured 4,520 mm in length, it had a width of 1,850 mm and a height of 1,895 mm. Xylo had a wheelbase of 2,760 mm.

It was offered with two diesel engines. There was a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and a 2.5-litre CRDe diesel engine. The mHawk engine produced max power output of 120 bhp and a peak torque output of 280 Nm whereas the CRDe engine produced 95 bhp of max power and 220 Nm of peak torque. Both engines came mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and Xylo was offered only as a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
