Chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra – Anand Mahindra is very popular on social media platforms for his posts and replies. Anand Mahindra has always promoted the cars that were manufactured by Mahindra on social media. Not only does he promotes them, he also uses many Mahindra vehicles himself. He is known to arrive at events in vehicles that are manufactured by Mahindra. He owns several cars and SUVs and here is a list of SUVs that he uses on a regular basis.
Mahindra Bolero Invader
This was probably the first car owned by Anand Mahindra. Invader was actually derived from Bolero but it came with a shorter wheelbase. It was marketed as a three door lifestyle vehicle which is sportier than a regular 5-door Bolero. Invader came with a partial soft top and side facing seats for rear passengers. It was powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine. It is now a very rare car to spot on our roads these days.

Mahindra TUV300
Anand Mahindra got himself a customised TUV300 soon after it was launched in the market. This TUV300 was for his personal use and he got himself Mahindra’s official armour kit installed on the SUV. The accessories and body kits enahanced the overall look of the TUV300 and it looked rugged. He got the battle green shade which played a crucial role in making the SUV look like a tank. TUV300 is not available in the market anymore. It is now offered as Bolero Neo with some changes.
Mahindra TUV300 Plus
Mr. Mahindra also got a TUV300 Plus for himself. This was also customised and he named the SUV Grey Ghost. The customisation on this SUV was the paintjob. it got a special steel-grey shade. He had even complained once that the folks at Mahindra are making him wait for his TUV300 Plus because of the customisations.
Mahindra Scorpio
Mahindra has now launched the new Scorpio N. The older version is still on sale ad Scorpio Classic and it still has a large following. There are many owners who still have the first generation Scorpio with them. Anand Mahindra is one of them. He owns the 4×4 version of Scorpio and it is finished in Black which is a very popular shade among Scorpio owners. He was spotted in his Scorpio in the past but, not recently. We’ll have to wait and see if Anand Mahindra would get himself a Scorpio N.
Mahindra Alturas G4
Anand Mahindra had bought the Alturas G4 when it was launched in the market. As we all know, it is a rebadged version of Ssangyong Rexton. Just like the TUV300 Plus, he had asked for a name for his Alturas G4 on social media and he got several replies. Out of all the suggestions, he received online, he chose the name – ‘Baaz’ for his Alturas G4. Once he had finalised the name, Anand Mahindra even gifted a diecast model to the person who had actually suggested the name. Mahindra is now working on the 5-door version of Thar and it is expected to be launched in the market next year.
