Anant Ambani’s engagement gift is a Bentley Continental GTC Speed worth Rs 4.5 crore

By Shantonil Nag

The Ambani clan keeps on adding new cars to its garage every now and then. The latest model to be added to their garage is the Bentley Continental GTC Speed. The latest spotting of the car on the streets of Mumbai shows the convertible car without a security convoy and a special VIP registration number.

The new Bentley Continental GTC Speed finished in a beautiful flaming orange shade is going through the Mumbai traffic. According to the information, this car has been gifted by Mukesh Ambani to Anant Ambani as an engagement gift. While Anant is yet to be spotted in the car, we can expect to see him driving the new vehicle pretty soon.

The car was first spotted inside Antilla decorated with flowers a couple of months ago during the engagement party of Anant Ambani. This is the first time that the vehicle was spotted on the road.

The Bentley GTC Speed is a sports-focused convertible grand tourer. It is the most powerful Continental GTC ever built. The car comes powered by a 6.0-litre W12 engine that produces a maximum power of 659 PS and a peak torque of 900 Nm. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

It comes with a convertible roof that can be operated while the vehicle is moving. Even at a speed of 50 km/h, the roof can be retracted. The Bentley Continental GTC Speed also comes with an electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), which can vary the torque supplied to each of the rear wheels. One can accelerate out of the corners with much more control.

There are signature Bentley features including a rotating display that rotates into analogue dials from the touchscreen. The car also gets Apple CarPlay. There is a 16-channel Bang & Olufsen system which can be upgraded to 20-channel Naim.

Ambanis love Bentley cars

This is not the first Bentley car in the Ambani garage. There are a lot many more expensive models. The family already owns four different Bentayga SUVs including the W12 model. The Ambanis were one of the first buyers of the Bentayga SUV in India and it also gets the Mulliner watch on the dashboard that costs several lakhs.

In addition to these Bentaygas, the Ambani family also owns a Flying Spur, Continental GT and a Mulsanne in its collection. And that’s not all, as the Ambani family owns all the range-topping, high-end models from carmakers like Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Land Rover and Ferrari. All the family members, especially Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, are seen commuting in these high-end luxury and sports cars on the roads of Mumbai, with the convoy of security guards in other high-end SUVs.
