Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition launched in India

German luxury car manufacturer Audi launched a new Lifestyle Edition of Audi A6 sedan. The Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition is equipped with new features to provide an exclusive luxury experience to the customers at an attractive price range. The Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition is priced at a price tag of Rs 49.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Audi A6 Sedan combines innovative technologies, progressive design, and exciting versatile equipment options into an exceptionally sporty and elegant symbiosis. It gets a Seven Speed S tronic transmission, Adaptive Air Suspension and Audi Drive Select which makes driving the A6 on road one of a kind of experience.

The Audi A6 Lifestyle Edition has been configured specially for Audi customers who are looking forward to enjoy the thrill of driving in the lap of luxury. The Audi A6 boasts of multiple infotainment features, including the MMI Navigation with MMI Touch, Advanced Voice Dialogue system and Bose Surround Sound. The Audi Smartphone Interface puts the customized environments Apple Car Play and Android Auto on board and on the MMI pop-up screen.

The A6 Lifestyle Edition also boasts of features like the Rear Seat Entertainment, Espresso Mobil and Entry Exit Lights with Audi logo projection. With the Rear Seat Entertainment, rear seat passengers can enjoy infotainment through networked tablets with 25.65 cms touch screen that also work outside the car.

During the event Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India said,

The focus of this year will clearly be on continuing to offer our customers and Audi enthusiasts a new and exhilarating line up of products to choose from and to own their favorite Audi.

The A6 comes in two engine options. A 2.0L turbocharged diesel and 1.8L turbocharged petrol engine. The diesel engine produces 190 Bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque whereas the petrol engine produces 190 Bhp and 320 Nm of torque. The Audi A6 is assembled in India at the automaker’s Aurangabad facility from completely knocked down (CKD) kits.

The luxury car competes with the likes of the BMW 5-Series, the Volvo S90, Jaguar XF and the Mercedes Benz E-Class. Currently, the E-Class leads the market in terms of sales. Audi has also stepped into the electric vehicle space with E-Tron and the company is likely to launch this EV by the end of 2019
