Audi India has suprised us by launching the all-new version of its popular tiny SUV, the Q3. This is just a minor facelift that will see it getting a revised look and improved features.
How different does it look?
The overall design is similar to the outgoing Q3 with a few touches here and there. For starters, you now get LED headlamps with LED DRLs, something that will be standard across the range. In addition to this, the front bumper has been redesigned to the vehicle a more aggressive look. The car will now feature 17″ rims as standard as well.
Power will only come from a 2.0 liter diesel engine, however it will be available in two states of tune. The vehicle will be available as a FWD and with Quattro too and the power outputs vary depending upon the configuration chosen. The FWD will get the 150 Bhp and 340 Nm state of tune where as the Quattro variant will get the 184 Bhp and 380 Nm tune. Both the engines come mated to a 7-speed S-tronic transmission. While the FWD version does 0-100 in 9.3 seconds, the AWD one does it in 7.9 seconds. ARAI claimed fuel economy figures for the FWD is 15.17 kmpl where as that for the AWD is 18.51 kmpl.
The new Q3 will have a panoramic sun roof as standard. It will also get dual-zone climate control, a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, front seats with electric adjustment, MMI radio, bluetooth, voice command, 20gb jukebox, 2 SD card slots, navigation, cruise control, parking sensors with reverse camera and 6 airbags. The vehicle will also be getting a space safer spare wheel.
Audi has launched the Q3 in only two variants, the FWD and the AWD. The FWD is priced at Rs 34.2 lakhs and the AWD is priced at Rs 37.2 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
