The Q3 TFSI gets only Front Wheel Drive (FWD) setup, unlike the Diesel-powered Q3 that also gets Quattro AWD system in the higher-end variants. The 1.4-litre petrol engine is same as the engine that powers the all-new A4 and the A3 sedan and Cabriolet in India as well.

The new 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine produces a maximum of 148 BHP of maximum power and 250 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission. According to Audi, the new Q3 TFSI can hit the mark of 100 km/h in juts 8.9 seconds. The petrol SUV is also fuel efficient, and as per ARAI, the SUV returns a maximum of 16.9 to a litre.

There have been no changes to the exterior or the interior of the vehicle. Recently Audi launched the new Q3 that came with changes like tweaked bumpers, LED headlamps and LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels and 2-Zone climate control. The car also gets a panoramic sunroof as standard across all the variants.

On the inside, the Audi Q3 offers walnut brown inlays, leather or faux leather upholstery, interior lighting package, Audi MMI with Bluetooth and more. The SUV comes loaded with six airbags, ESP, ABS, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Assist. There are additional features like cruise control among other safety features.

“Luxury is about choice, and our discerning Audi customers were the driving force behind offering various configurations from which they can choose the best fit. The Audi Q3 model lineup gets strengthened with the introduction of the new Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI FWD. With this addition, we have three new engine options available for our most successful model. The Audi Q3 has been a segment leader ever since its introduction and our best-selling model is therefore even more appealing and bound to attract customers who believe in the ‘Stay Young, Live Big’ philosophy of the Audi Q3,” said Mr. Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India.
