Audi Q7 petrol launched

Audi has launched a new petrol version of its popular full-sized SUV, the Q7. While Audi did offer a petrol on the last generation Q7, they stopped doing so on the current generation one, offering only the 3.0 liter diesel engine. The company has now introduced the Q7 40 TFSI in the country.

The petrol vehicle will be on offer in two variants, the base Premium Plus at Rs 67.76 lakhs and the top spec Technology variant at Rs 74.43 lakhs, Ex-showroom India.

Specifications:

The 40 TFSI is powered by a 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine that produces 250 Bhp and 370 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and 0-100 is dispatched in 6.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 233 kmph. The ARAI certified fuel economy figure for the vehicle is 11.68 kmpl.

So let us start with the base Premium Plus variant first. It will be equipped with 19″ rims, LED headlamps, external mirrors with autodimming/ heating and with memory, panoramic sun roof, seat upholstery finished in cricket leather, inlays in Oak grey, 4-spoke multi function steering wheel with paddle shifters, air suspension all around, 4-zone climate control, Audi Drive Select, 8 airbags, rear view camera, Audi Parking plus, Audi Phone Box, rear seat entertainment package and Audi sound system.

The technology trim over that gets the LED Matrix lights, the Auto park assist, surround view camera, DVD player, MMI navigation with MMI touch, Bose 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting with 30 colours, Audi Virtual Cockpit and the Audi Smartphone interface.

The car will also come with a full finished paint theme, something that is only on offer on the recently launched Design Edition of the Q7. The new petrol variant becomes the second engine option to be on offer on the Q7, following the 3.0 liter diesel V6 which has been on offer since the beginning.
