Audi S4 launched at Rs. 45.31 lakh

Audi India has launched the S4 (sports version of A4) sedan at Rs. 45.31 lakh, ex-showroom, Maharashtra.

The S4 is powered by a 333 Bhp V6 engine that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 5 seconds. The S4 is available at 19 dealerships across India. Interestingly, Audi has launched the S4 based on the strong feedback to its ‘Vote for the S4 and bring it to India’ campaign on social media platforms including Facebook.

Exterior:The S4 has a sporty road stance with its single-frame hexagonal radiator grille, sharp looking xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and new bumpers. Interior: The S4 gets matt brushed aluminium and cool black interiors. The leather steering wheel has flat-bottomed rim available as a sporty option while the driver information system with color display is standard equipment.

Engine: The Audi S4 is powered by a 3.6-litre, V6 engine that puts out 333 Bhp of power and 440 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission. The S4 returns an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 10.34 Kmpl and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 Km.

“After the introduction of the new Audi A4 we saw a lot of Audi ‘fans’ requesting for the Audi S4, and we responded to this demand,” Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said.

He added that the new Audi S4 joins the successful league of our sedans and we are confident that it will also script a success story similar to its predecessors. He mentioned that Audi India started the ‘Vote for S4’ campaign on various social media platforms and the outcome was overwhelming as thousands of fans participated on a daily basis and unanimously voted to bring the S4 to India.
