Baahubali actor Prabhas’ latest ride is a Rs. 5.8 Cr Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

Prabhas became famous for his performance in the Baahubali movie. The Tollywood movie star is known to own many luxury cars such as BMX X3, Jaguar XJR and a Rolls Royce. His latest addition to the collection is a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. The Aventador is the flagship of the Lamborghini. He purchased the new supercar on his father’s birthday.

His Aventador Roadster is finished in Arancio Atlas which is a bright orange colour. The Aventador starts from Rs. 5.01 Crores ex-showroom. The Roadster variant that Prabhas has opted for costs Rs. 5.79 Crores ex-showroom. However, this is not it. There is also a top of the line performance version known as Aventador SVJ which is priced at Rs. 6.25 Crores.

Being a roadster, the Aventador comes with an open-top. Due to this, you can hear the naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine more. The screaming V12 announces the arrival of the supercar from miles away. It comes with a 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces a max power output of 740 hp of max power and a peak torque output of a massive 690 Nm. All this power is transmitted to all four wheels through a single-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission.

Aventador Roadster can hit a top speed of 300 kmph and it can hit a ton in just 3 seconds, whereas 0 to 200 kmph takes just 9 seconds. With such a high-performance vehicle you also need some good safety equipment. Lamborghini offers Electronic Stability Control that is integrated with the Anti-lock braking system and Traction Control System.

Braking duties are done by carbon-ceramic disc brakes in the front and at the rear. The front disc measures a massive 400 mm in diameter and are grabbed by 6 piston calipers whereas at the rear you get 380 mm carbon-ceramic discs that are grabbed by 4 piston brake calipers. You get driver, passenger, side airbags and knee airbags depending on the markets.

Chassis is a carbon fibre monocoque one that provides stiffness and rigidity to the cabin while keeping the weight down. It also gets rear-wheel steering. If you are going at high speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front one which increases the wheelbase of the vehicle. This helps in increasing stability when going at high speeds. Due to this, you can carry higher speeds in the corners. The rear wheels also turn in the opposite direction when you are driving at really slow speeds. This helps in shortening the wheelbase and make tight turns easily. This can come in really handy in parking lots and U-turns, especially for a vehicle that is as wide as Aventador.

It comes with high-quality materials and carbon fibre, ensuring a lightweight and luxurious experience for the occupants.

Aventador uses forged-aluminium wheels for the front and the rear. In the front, you get 20-inches while at the rear you get 21-inches. The tyres are also massive and are Pirelli P Zero. The front measures 255/30 section while the rear is a massive 355/25.
