Tata LAMV (Light Armoured High Mobility Vehicle)
The LAMV can be used for multiple applications; as a troop carrier, a mobile communication system and a patrolling vehicle.
Power comes from a 3.0 liter Direct Injection CRDi engine that makes 115 Bhp and 300 Nm. It has a max speed of 85 kmph. It has a payload of 500 kg. In terms of protection, the LAMV receives protection from all sides, the roof and the floor. It is also equipped with run flat tyres.
Tata Kestrel 8×8
The Kestrel is Tata’s indigenously developed Armoured Amphibious vehicle. It can be used for optimized surveillance and all terrain performance.
Powering this mighty beast is a Cummins engine that produces 600 Bhp. The Kestrel has the capacity to seat 12 occupants. When under water, the driver can navigate using 3 periscopes and a camera present both at the front and rear. Both these cameras feature night vision.
Tata LSV (Light Specialist Vehicle)
This vehicle has been specialized to run as a communication vehicle. It can be used as a Mobile Communication Terminal, a Mobile Radar or even Mobile ATC.
Powering this is a 3.0 liter Direct Injection CRDi engine that makes 115 Bhp and 320 Nm. It has a max speed of 70 kmph. It has a max payload of 1.2 tons.
Upfront it has the space for a driver and a passenger. The cabin is air conditioned. It has a provision for mounting a machine gun on the bonnet, fitting fire arms, demisting and defrosting device.
