For Indian two wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto, Pulsar range of motorcycles have been one of the most popular in their portfolio. The Pulsar brand came into existence back in 2001 and ever since then, Bajaj has launched several new models and revised versions under this name. Bajaj now has bikes from 125 cc to 200 cc under the Pulsar branding. In short, there is a Pulsar for any type of buyer in Indian market. To be honest, Bajaj has not made any major changes to the Pulsar range of motorcycles for a very long time and these bikes have started to feel outdated. It looks like Bajaj has also realised that and are working on a brand new Pulsar.
Bajaj is now working on a 250-cc version of the Pulsar and the same was spotted testing under heavy camouflage few days ago. The bike was spotted testing outside Pune. Little information is available about the motorcycle in terms of design and features but, here we have a rendered image that shows how the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 motorcycle could look like. The render image has been shared by IAB on their website.
The artist took inspiration from the spy pics, Dominar and NS200 motorcycle to create this render image. The render image is actually a mix and match of Dominar 250 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The front end of the render is inspired or borrowed from a Bajaj Dominar motorcycle. It gets telescopic front forks and the wheels are borrowed from NS200. The bike continues to get petal disc brakes which we have seen on other Pulsar motorcycles.

Coming to the fuel tank, it gets a cowl that is extended towards the front of the motorcycle. The artist has given 250 graphics on the cowl and instead on Dominar, we see a Pulsar badging on the tank. Coming down to the engine area, it looks similar to what we have seen on Pulsar NS200 motorcycle. The seats are two step split seats with Dominar like short exhaust pipe.
Moving to the rear, the bike starts looking more like an NS200. The rear is sleek and the side panels are similar to that as well. The rear fender is extended and the LED turn indicators and the number plate are mounted on it. The rear mono shock, tyre hugger and the alloy wheels are all similar to what we have seen on NS200.
According to some reports, Bajaj is working on a new platform for the Pulsar 250. Just like other Bajaj motorcycles, the upcoming motorcycle will also be sharing some parts with other motorcycles but, will it be a combination of Dominar 250 and NS200? we don’t know. The image seen here in the article is just a speculative render and the original bike might be entirely different from the one seen here.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 motorcycle is expected to generate 27 Ps and approximately 24 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed transmission and is expected to get slip and assist clutch. The new Pulsar 250 is expected to be launched in the market by September 2021.
