Bajaj Pulsar, Platina, CT100, Dominar BS6 range of motorcycles: Prices revealed

Bajaj Auto is one of the popular two wheeler brand in the country and is very popular among young buyers because of their Pulsar range of motorcycles. Apart from Pulsar, Bajaj has a range of commuter motorcycles too. Like every other manufacturer in the market, Bajaj has also been working on upgrading their motorcycles to meet the new BS6 emission norms. During this BS6 transition, Bajaj has discontinued models like Discover 110 and 125.

The price difference in the motorcycles range between Rs 1,000 to Rs 11,600. Starting with the commuter segment bikes like Bajaj CT 100, CT 110, Platina 100, Platina H Gear all received an updated BS6 engine. Apart from that no other cosmetic changes are made to the motorcycle in terms of design, stickers or colours. The Price for BS6 Bajaj CT 100 is Rs 40,794 ( Rs 7,392 difference), CT 110 is priced at Rs 46,413 (Rs 6,419 diff.), The Platina and the Platina H Gear is priced at Rs 47,264 and 59,200 which is Rs 6,368 and Rs 2,829 more expensive than the BS4 versions respectively.

Coming up the range their is the Avenger cruiser motorcycles. The Avenger 160 Street is Rs 11,642 Rs more expensive than its BS4 version and is priced at Rs 94,893. The Avenger 220 Cruise is Rs 11,000 more expensive and has a price tag of Rs 1.16 lakh. After Avenger comes the Pulsar range of motorcycles that made the brand popular among youngsters.

The Pulsar range has motorcycle in 125-cc to a maximum of 220-cc range. Starting with the latest and the smallest Pulsar in the line up teh Pulsar 125. It was recently launched and it got a BS6 compliant engine recently. The Pulsar 125 is now Rs 6,381 more dearer than the BS4 version. Next is the Pulsar 150 which comes in variation like Regular, Neon and twin disc. The regular Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 94,957 (Rs 8,999 diff), The Pulsar 150 Neon is Rs 85,536 which is Rs 10,336 more than the BS4 version. The Pulsar 150 Twins Disc is Rs 8,998 more expensive and is priced at Rs 98,835.

The Pulsar 180F is another motorcycle that was recently added to the line up. It also gets a BS6 compliant engine and is Rs 10,336 more expensive than the BS4 version. The BS6 version of Pulsar 180F is priced at Rs 1.07 lakh. Next is the Pulsar NS 160 which gets a price hike of Rs 8,805 and now has a price tag of Rs 1.03 lakh. The Pulsar NS200 and RS200 also get the BS6 update and are now Rs 11,000 and Rs 3,000 more expensive than the BS4 versions respectively. The Pulsar NS 200 and RS200 now have a revised price of Rs 1.25 lakh and 1.44 lakh respectively.

The last Pulsar in the line up is the Pulsar 220 which gets a price hike of Rs 9,000 and now has a revised price of Rs 1.14 lakh. Flagship model from Bajaj at the moment is the Dominar 400 which is a power cruiser. It now gets a BS6 compliant engine and a marginal hike of Rs 1,000. The Bajaj Dominar 400 with the BS6 updates is now priced at Rs 1.91 lakh. All the prices mentioned in above are ex-showroom
