Benefits of up to Rs.1 lakh on Fiat Linea and Punto!

Fiat India is offering some interesting discounts and benefits on their Linea and Punto models. Most of the benefits are passed on to customers through gift cheques which are actually cash discounts and exchange bonuses. The Punto petrol gets gift cheques of up to Rs. 75,000 while the Linea petrol gets gift cheques of up to Rs. 1 lakh.

The diesel variants of both the cars get minimal discounts clearly hinting that the car maker is pushing the sales of their petrol variants altogether. Cartoq spoke to a Fiat dealer dealer to find out what the discounts really are, read on to find out.

Fiat Punto

Fiat has announced discounts on both the petrol and diesel variants of the Punto. Amongst the petrol variants, the Active and Dynamic variants get gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 30,000 while the Emotion and Emotion Pack variants get gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 75,000 respectively. Apart from this, customers are offered free accessories worth Rs. 10,000, free insurance worth Rs. 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000 for all the petrol variants.

The offers brings down the price of Punto Active variant down to Rs. 4.01 lakh which is Rs. 21,000 cheaper than the Maruti Suzuki Swift LXI priced at Rs. 4.22 lakh and Rs. 57,000 lesser than the Hyundai i20 Era priced at Rs. 5.58 lakh. Similarly the Punto Dynamic variant with an offer price of Rs. 4.32 lakh is Rs. 43,000 lesser than the Swift VXI priced at Rs. 4.75 lakh and Rs. 66,000 cheaper than the i20 Magna variant priced at Rs. 4.98 lakh. In the top-end variant, the Punto Emotion Pack with an offer price of Rs. 5.26 lakh is Rs. 27,000 cheaper than the Swift ZXI priced at Rs. 5.53 lakh and Rs. 1.02 lakh cheaper than the i20 Asta(O) priced at Rs. 6.28 lakh.

Among the diesel variants, the Punto Active variant gets a cash discount of Rs. 5,000. The Dynamic and Emotion variants get cash discounts of Rs. 5,000, free insurance worth Rs. 15,000 and free roadside assistance for 50 months. The Emotion pack gets a cash discount of Rs. 10,000, free insurance worth Rs. 15,000 and free roadside assistance for 50 months.

Fiat Linea

Fiat offers discounts and benefits for both petrol and diesel variants of the Linea. Among the petrol variants, the Active gets a gift cheque worth Rs. 30,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000. The Dynamic variant gets a gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 40,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000. The Emotion and Emotion Pack variants get a gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 75,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000. The T-Jet Plus variant of Linea gets a massive gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 1 lakh and an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000.

The offer brings down the price of Linea Active variant to Rs. 6.21 lakh which is Rs. 78,000 lesser than the Honda City Corporate variant priced at Rs. 6.99 lakh. The Linea Dynamic with an offer price of Rs. 6.38 lakh is Rs. 1.62 lakh cheaper than the City E MT priced at Rs. 7.70 lakh. The Linea Emotion with an offer price of Rs. 6.69 lakh is Rs.1.51 lakh lesser than the City S MT priced at Rs. 8.20 lakh.  Similarly, the Linea Emotion Pack with an offer price of Rs. 7 lakh is Rs. 1.70 lakh cheaper than the City V MT priced at Rs. 8.70 lakh. The Linea T-Jet Plus which gets a massive gift cheque (Cash discount) of Rs. 1 lakh, is now offered at a super low price of Rs. 8.06 lakh, which is again Rs. 1.44 lakh cheaper than the City V (Sunroof) MT priced at Rs. 9.50 lakh.

Among the diesel variants, the Active variant and Dynamic variants get a gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 10,000 while the Emotion and Emotion Pack variants get a gift cheque (cash discount) of Rs. 15,000. Along with the gift cheques, Fiat also offers exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000, free insurance worth Rs. 23,000 and 50 months road side assistance on all diesel variants.
