After launching the TRK 502 and 502X adventure tourers, the Italian superbike manufacturer Benelli has pulled the covers off of its latest bike. The TRK 251 is the youngest sibling in the adventure tourer segment offered by the brand. On the 6th of December, 2021, Benelli commenced the bookings for the latest entrant of their India lineup.
The booking amount for TRK 251 is Rs 6000/- and the bike can be booked online by logging into their website or by visiting the nearest authorized Benelli showroom. As per the statement from the brand, the deliveries for the TRK 251 will kick off from the month of January next year.
At a first glance, the TRK 251 looks exactly like its elder siblings 502 and 502X. Following the silhouette of the adventure touring platform of the brand, TRK 251’s design includes a high-set of twin LED headlamps, along with LED DRLs and the turn indicators are LED as well. Additionally, the bike gets a visible steel trestle frame, ultra-comfortable riding ergonomics, plush split seats, and an upswept chrome exhaust pipe.

The centre of the handlebar is fitted with a fully digital LCD console, that displays all the information that a rider needs in a single glance. Everything from speed, rpm, fuel level, gear position, trip meter and time will be displayed on the screen.
As the bike is built to tackle the rough terrains, Benelli has given the TRK 251 an outstanding ground clearance of 170mm. And to increase the comfort and riding ergonomics the bike gets a seat height of 800mm. The dry weight of the TRK 251 clocks in at 164kg. Additionally, the bike also gets a sculpted 18L fuel tank which allows this adventure tourer to continue without stopping for fuel breaks frequently. TRK 251 will be offered in three colour options – Glossy White, Glossy Black and Glossy Grey.
Powering the adventure mobile will be a 250cc, four-stroke, and four-valve single-cylinder engine which will be a liquid-cooled, double overhead camshaft motor. This gas guzzuler is capable of churning out 25.8 hp of max power at 9,250 rpm and 21.1 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The motor will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The braking system consists of a 280 mm diameter floating disc with 4-piston calipers in front and 240 mm calipers with a single-piston caliper behind. Along with a visible steel trestle frame, the bike features USD front forks and a T-swingarm type rear shock absorber. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with a 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyre. The Benelli TRK 251 will be available with 3-Year Unlimited Kilometre Warranty as Standard.
