Couple Fined Rs 53,500 For 'Highway Romance' On Moving Hero Xtreme 125R Motorcycle [Video]
Everyone has their special partner whom they love a lot and can do anything for. However, it has to be mentioned that such love should not be displayed to the world on public roads. Recently, a video from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral on the internet in which a couple was seen romancing on the highway. What was noted was that the woman, instead of sitting behind the man, was sitting on the fuel tank of the bike. Well, the result of this public display of affection was that the biker has been fined Rs 53,500.

This video showing the couple romancing on public roads has been shared on X by MD Raza on their page. In the short clip, we can note that there was a couple riding on a Hero Xtreme 125R. Now, unlike normal couples where the man is seen riding the bike.
Meanwhile, the woman is seen sitting behind. In this particular case, the woman was sitting on the fuel tank of the motorcycle. She was facing towards the man, and her hands were wrapped around him. We can also note that neither the rider nor the woman was wearing helmets.
Instead, the helmet was in the hands of the woman, who was holding it while hugging the man and was breaking off small bits from the helmet and throwing them away. Most likely, they were having a conversation during this hugging ride.
What happened next?
In the video, nothing much happens except for the person recording the video opening his window after driving next to the couple. However, it has been reported that the person riding the bike has been identified with the help of the registration number of his motorcycle.
As per the post, the bike owner has been fined Rs 53,500 for performing this inappropriate and dangerous act on public roads. It can be noted that the bike has been fined for violating Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act V Act, Section 39/192 – reckless or dangerous driving on public roads.
Other violations include Section 194D, Section 129 of CMVA, and Rule 121 of U.P. MVR 1998 – riding a two-wheeler without a helmet and other violations such as general traffic rule violations, driving without valid authorization, and a few others.
Commenting on this incident, Lakhan Singh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar, stated, “The video surfaced on social media in which a boy and his co-rider were seen flouting traffic norms. A challan of Rs 55,000 has been issued to them.” He added, “Such acts are extremely risky and will invite strict penalties.” Yadav concluded by stating that all road users, including young people, should adhere to traffic rules.
Not the first time
This is not the first time that we have seen a couple displaying their love to the public on roads. A little while ago, a video from Hyderabad went viral on the internet in which a couple was seen sitting on top of the roof of a Kia Seltos mid-size SUV. They were sitting very close to each other and were kissing, meanwhile, all the other people on the road watched them.
