Woman Biker On Yamaha MT15 Harassed By Semi-Naked Men In Maruti Eeco [Video]
Inadequate women’s safety is one of the biggest problems in India. Each and every day, thousands of women are harassed in public as well as private spaces. In most cases, these women just deal with the trauma on their own. However, there are some women who are not afraid of bad guys and make sure that their complaints get heard. Recently, one such daring woman biker was harassed by a few men who were standing out of the windows of a Maruti Suzuki Eeco on a Uttarakhand highway.

This video showing the woman rider getting harassed by men on the road has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. It starts off with the woman vlogger riding her motorcycle on the Uttarakhand highway. We can then note that there were a few men who were travelling from Uttar Pradesh to Uttarakhand in their grey-colored Eeco minivan.
What happens in the video is that most of these men were half-naked, and a few of them were even standing out of the window of the vehicle. Now, although most of the other young men inside the vehicle were not doing much except for shouting and creating ruckus, the person who was sitting on the window of the front left side was harassing the female rider.
We can observe that this particular man was making indecent gestures, which were making the female rider uncomfortable. Meanwhile, this shameless man was laughing while doing so. This then continued for a while, and the rider even brought out her phone and started recording the video from it as well.
Complained to police
In the video, the female rider can be heard being furious at these men. She was heard stating that a lot of tourists from states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and others come to Uttarakhand during long weekends and holidays and spoil the culture by harassing girls and mocking local culture.
What happened next is that after recording these men harassing her, the woman rider managed to find a police interceptor vehicle parked on the side of the road. She then immediately parked her bike next to the police vehicle and started explaining to them what had happened. The rider even provided the authorities with the video proof, soon after which the authorities started chasing the Maruti Suzuki Eeco minivan.
Not the first time
This is not the first time that this particular woman rider has been harassed during a road trip. Back in October of last year, when this woman rider was riding her motorcycle through the state of Rajasthan with her car, she was physically assaulted by a local man in Ajmer.
What happened was that when the rider reached Ajmer, she stopped her motorcycle to let her cat relieve itself. However, at the same time, a man came toward her and started abusing her. Soon after, the situation escalated rapidly, and he started physically assaulting the woman rider.
He even went on to hit the cat during the argument. Thankfully, there were people who were stopping this man from hitting the woman. Finally, after getting physically assaulted, the rider went and filed an FIR against this man, following which he dropped on his knees in front of this rider and asked for forgiveness. Even the mother and wife of this man begged for forgiveness from the young lady. Eventually, she forgave the man.
