The majority of people in India use two-wheelers to commute. However, over the years, the riding culture in India has grown, and we now have several riding communities that organize rides regularly. While we know that several popular actors and actresses love to ride, we have rarely seen a politician do this. Here we have a video that has been circulating online for the last couple of days. In this video, Anurag Singh Thakur, who is a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, was recently seen riding a Harley-Davidson bike.

The video has been shared by Exclusive Minds on their Instagram page. In this video, we see a group of bikers riding through the wide roads of Central Delhi on a winter morning. Most of the bikes in the group are Harley-Davidsons, and at the front, we see a green-colored Harley-Davidson Road Glide cruiser motorcycle.
All the members of the group are wearing proper riding gear. However, the person at the front, riding the Road Glide Special, is wearing a long jacket, boots, a helmet, and gloves. It is none other than Mr. Anurag Thakur himself. He is seen riding the bike effortlessly while others follow him.
We tried to dig a bit more into the video and found that the politician was riding the bike as part of an event organized by Red FM. The event is called the Riders Music Festival, and it will take place in Delhi on February 8th and 9th, 2025. This is a flagship event organized by 93.5 Red FM, a private radio and entertainment network.
As a preparation for the event, the organizers have arranged weekend Breakfast Rides with various biker groups from around 32 cities across the country. We assume that the video was recorded during one such weekend breakfast ride in Delhi.
Coming back to the video, Anurag Thakur has been associated with the event, and the politician has posted another video of the event on his Instagram page too. It looks like the slogan of the ride organized in Delhi was to make India drug-free. We are not sure if the bike seen in the video is owned by Anurag Thakur or not.

This is not the first time Anurag has been spotted at such events. In the past, he has been part of several bike rallies organized for a cause.
Coming to the bike itself, the motorcycle seen in the video is a Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special. Harley-Davidson, as we all know, had officially left the Indian market, and the brand is currently managed by Hero MotoCorp in India.
They do offer a few models in India, and the Road Glide is one of them. The Road Glide Limited seen here is the older model. The current version of the bike has minor cosmetic changes. The bike is powered by a 1,868 cc twin-cylinder engine that generates 92.5 Bhp and 158 Nm of peak torque.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a 23-liter fuel tank. As this is a cruiser motorcycle, the large fuel tank capacity helps during long rides. The cost of this version of the Road Glide Limited was around Rs 37 lakh, ex-showroom.
