The popular Italian superbike manufacturer Aprilia will soon be launching the Tuono 457 in India. Recently, the company, on its official website, listed the Tuono 457, which is the street-naked version of the famed Aprilia RS 457. It has also been reported that some dealerships across the country have started taking unofficial reservations for this motorcycle. Once launched, the Tuono 457 will take on rivals like the KTM Duke 390, Yamaha MT-03, and BMW G310R.

Design
The soon-to-be-launched Aprilia Tuono 457 is the stripped-down version of the RS 457. It gets its design inspiration from its elder sibling, the Tuono 650. This bike boasts a muscular fuel tank with extended tank shrouds. Also, at the front, it comes equipped with a striking triple-LED headlight cluster with integrated DRLs.
Additionally, the bike gets a sporty rear profile with an aggressive streetfighter stance and LED taillights. Aprilia will offer this bike with two livery options: Piranha Red and Puma Grey.
Features
In terms of features, Aprilia will provide the Tuono 457 with a color TFT display, which will also offer Bluetooth connectivity. Riders will be able to connect their smartphones with the bike to access information and smartphone features on the screen. It will also get different ride modes.
The bike will have a wide handlebar, which will help make it commuter-friendly in city traffic. Other features will include 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 110/70-section tires at the front. As for the rear wheel, it will measure 150/60. Braking duties will be handled by single-disc setups at both ends, provided by Bybre.
Additionally, the bike will come equipped with Bosch dual-channel ABS. Powering the Aprilia Tuono 457 will be the same 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine seen on the RS 457. It will produce 47.54 PS of power and 43.5 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Other features of this naked streetfighter will include an optional bi-directional quick-shifter, a standard slipper clutch, and a traction control system. Additionally, the bike will come equipped with USD front shock absorbers and a mono-shock suspension in the rear.
Pricing and Competition
It is being speculated that the Aprilia Tuono 457 will be launched with a starting price of Rs 3.9 lakh and will go up to Rs 4.10 lakh. Once launched, it will rival the KTM Duke 390, BMW G310R, and the Yamaha MT-03 naked streetfighters.

This superbike comes equipped with a 1,099 cc longitudinal V4 engine. It makes 214 bhp at 13,000 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 125 Nm at 10,550 rpm. This engine has been optimized to offer impressive mid-range and top-end power.
