Many Bollywood celebrities have a passion for two-wheelers, and it clearly reflects in their choices. Most of these actors and actresses own at least one two-wheeler in their garage. However, there are some whom we don’t typically associate with two-wheelers. One such actor is Arjun Kapoor. He has usually been spotted in a luxury or exotic car, but things have changed as the actor has now acquired a two-wheeler—a brand new BGauss RUV350 electric scooter.
The video of this was shared by Cars For You on their YouTube channel. In the video, we see Arjun Kapoor approaching his brand-new scooter, which appears to have been delivered to his home. A group of vloggers and photographers were waiting for him outside his residence. As Arjun Kapoor walks towards the scooter, he is greeted by the dealership staff.
He then interacts with the photographers and paparazzi who were waiting for him. The actor performs a religious ritual before grabbing the keys to his new scooter. The scooter shown here is the BGauss RUV350 electric scooter, and it is the first electric scooter in Arjun Kapoor’s garage.
The scooter is manufactured by the Indian company BGauss and was launched in the Indian market a few months ago. The RUV350 is a premium scooter sold by the brand, with RUV standing for “Rider Utility Vehicle.” After receiving the keys, Arjun Kapoor sits on his new scooter and takes it for a quick spin.
In the video, we see him asking the photographers to maintain a safe distance so that he doesn’t accidentally crash into them. After a brief ride, he returns to his residence. It’s worth noting that the actor wasn’t wearing a helmet, which we do not recommend. It’s always advisable to wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler.
RUV350
The RUV350 electric scooter is available in multiple variants. The base iEX variant is priced at ₹1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), the mid-spec EX variant is priced at ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom), and the top-end Max variant is priced at ₹1.34 lakh (ex-showroom). Arjun Kapoor has purchased the top-end Max variant.
The scooter features a sleek, retro-modern design. It comes equipped with an InWheel Hyperdrive motor that has a top speed of 75 km/h. It is powered by a 3 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed real-world range of 120 km. This 120 km range is specific to the top-end Max variant, while the other two variants are fitted with a 2.3 kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of 90 km.
The electric scooter is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, a 5-inch color TFT display that provides notification alerts and navigation prompts, cruise control, hill-hold assistance, fall-safe technology, and many more features. All variants come with drum brakes, which is somewhat surprising for a scooter priced over ₹1 lakh.
We haven’t previously seen Arjun Kapoor on two-wheelers or bikes, so we believe this is his first two-wheeler. We hope to see more bikes and scooters added to his garage in the future. As for cars, Arjun Kapoor owns luxury vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz ML 350, Volvo XC90, Maserati Levante, Land Rover Defender, and a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600.
