Comedian And Big Boss Winner Munawar Faruqui Buys A Jawa 42 Bobber [Video]

We often feature stories of Bollywood actors and directors buying new and interesting cars and bikes. Most of them opt for expensive vehicles as they are part of their lifestyle. One of the latest celebrities to buy a new bike is comedian Munawar Faruqui. He is a popular comedian and rapper from India who also won the reality show Big Boss 17.  He recently bought a brand new Jawa 42 Bobber motorcycle. A video of Munawar taking delivery of his new bike has now surfaced online.

Munawar is a well known face in the stand up comedy circle and he was also involved in a controversy where he had to serve his term in jail. He was accused of making malicious jokes about Hindu deities and the Minister of Home Affairs of India, Amit Shah, even before he got a chance to participate in Big Boss 17. The video seen here has been shared by jawamotorcycles on their Instagram page.

The video has been posted with a caption, “Munawar Faruqui’s journey with Jawa just got even more exciting with the 42 Bobber. In this video, we see Munawar walking into the dealership of Jawa motorcycles. We are assuming that the bike was delivered to him at a Mumbai dealership. The comedian has bought the Jawa 42 Bobber motorcycle. In this video, we see Munawar Faruqui talk about the reasons why he is buying the bike.

He has bought the bike in a chrome shade. He mentions that he really liked the vintage look along with the modern features. The styling of the bike is what attracted him. The motorcycle comes with a few cosmetic changes when compared to the older version. This 2024 version gets new colour scheme and alloy wheels.

The dual-tone alloy wheels give it a very unique and retro yet modern look. The motorcycle comes with digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, dual exhaust, bar-end mirrors and so on.

Jawa was in fact the first motorcycle in the country to offer a factory custom bobber motorcycle. The motorcycle comes with a single seat set up which looks extremely good on this motorcycle. Coming to the video, we do not see Big Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui riding the bike here. The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by 334-cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that generates 29.5 Bhp and 30 Nm of peak torque.

The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed  gearbox along with assist and slipper clutch and ABS. Price for a brand new Jawa 42 Bobber motorcycle starts at Rs 2.13 lakh, ex-showroom anf goes all the way till 2.31 lakh, ex-showroom.

Munawar is not the only celebrity who has bought a Jawa motorcycle. Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also owns a Bibber 42. He bought the bike in a custom Emerald green shade. Other than the shade, the bike also got other customisations too. We are not sure if Munawar opted for any customisations on his bike because in this video, it looks like a stock motorcycle.
