Hanumankind – This is a name that we have been hearing a lot on the internet lately. Sooraj Cherukat, who goes by the name Hanumankind, is an Indian rapper who gained popularity after the release of his latest song, “Big Dawgs.” The song has gone viral on the internet for its quality and content. Hanumankind has been posting videos on his channel for quite some time, but it was only after the release of “Big Dawgs” that he got noticed. Most of his videos consist of things that we see around us on a day-to-day basis. Here, we have one such video in which the rapper is featuring a Yamaha RX100.
The song was posted by Hanumankind on his YouTube channel and is called “Rush Hour.” The video was posted two years ago and is shot in a very unique way. The video features a Yamaha RX100, but you never get to see the bike completely in the video. The whole video is shot from a pillion perspective. They probably used a 360 camera and mounted it to the rear of the bike.
We only get to see the rear of the rider and the road. The video is recorded in Bengaluru and shows all the activities that happen on the road during rush hour. Hanumankind is seen riding the bike in this video.
The director has tried to capture the essence of the city in the video. We see people arguing on the road, traffic jams, a biker falling on the road, and even kickstarting the Yamaha RX100 in the good old manner.
We even see kids sitting on the bike and the reaction of the owner when they see someone else sitting on their bike. In short, the video shows the general stuff that a biker faces on a daily basis. However, it is the way this was recorded that made it interesting. The video has been directed by Bijoy Shetty, who also directed the recent hit “Big Dawgs.”
Just like “Big Dawgs,” the Yamaha RX100 also has several fans across the country. The motorcycle has been officially out of production for a very long time, and even today, there are many who are ready to pay a premium for a well-maintained used RX100. The Yamaha RX100 motorcycle was manufactured by Escorts Yamaha and was discontinued in 1996. The Yamaha RX100 instantly became popular among buyers for its styling and affordable price tag.
The 2-stroke engine generated 11 Bhp and was pretty quick. Surprisingly, Yamaha sold the motorcycle in India for over a decade, and it never received a facelift. Throughout its lifetime, the motorcycle came with a round headlamp, rectangular fuel tank, chrome-plated front and rear mudguards, iconic exhaust note, and the two-stroke engine.
Coming back to Hanumankind, his recent hit “Big Dawgs” has grabbed a lot of attention not only from artists in India but also from around the world. He was born in Kerala, grew up in Texas, and is currently settled in Bengaluru. The “Big Dawgs” has even made it to the Billboard Top 100 this week. “Big Dawgs” is currently at #57 on the chart. This is the first time Hanumankind has made it to the list.
