John Abraham Stars In New Aprilia Tuono 457 TVC
The Italian superbike manufacturer Aprilia, earlier this year in February, launched the Tuono 457 in the country with a price tag of Rs 3.95 lakh. Prior to that, the company also announced that the Bollywood actor and motorcycle enthusiast John Abraham is their new brand ambassador. Well, now the company has released a brand-new short promo film featuring the newly launched Tuono 457 and John Abraham.

This official TVC of the Aprilia Tuono 457 featuring John Abraham has been shared on Instagram by Aprilia India and John Abraham on their official pages. The video starts off with the voice-over of John Abraham over the beauty shots of the Tuono 457. We can hear the actor describing the sharp design of the naked streetfighter motorcycle.
After which, he then appears in front of the camera standing alongside the Tuono 457. Following which, he then wears the Aprilia-branded helmet and also proper riding gear. Next up, he turns on this naked streetfighter motorcycle and starts riding it on the public roads. It can be noted that the actor was riding this bike very actively on the roads and was showing its capabilities.
This TVC has been released to increase the awareness of the Tuono 457. Currently, the most popular motorcycle from Aprilia in India is the RS 457 superbike. John Abraham himself bought one when he was announced the brand ambassador of Aprilia. He also owns an RSV4 Factory Ultra Dark worth Rs 32 lakh.
Aprilia Tuono 457
As mentioned above, the Tuono 457 was launched by Aprilia back in February of this year. The bike is only offered in a single standard variant, which is priced at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of the design, this naked streetfighter motorcycle, which shares its heart with the RS 457, gets sharp angular lines and the iconic Tuono “bee face.”
It features an LED headlight, boomerang-style DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), a sculpted fuel tank, and exposed engine components. The headlamps of the Tuono 457 differentiate it from its elder siblings. Both ends get 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres. The tail section is sleek. The footpegs are rear-set, and the handlebar is a single-piece unit.
In terms of features, the Tuono 457 comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT colour display. For connectivity, it gets Bluetooth-enabled turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts. Additionally, the bike also offers comprehensive rider and ride data.
Powering the Aprilia Tuono 457 is the same 457cc parallel-twin engine as the RS 457. This engine is capable of producing 47 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque, which makes this naked motorcycle plenty quick. For transmission, it gets a 6-speed unit, and a slipper clutch is standard. Buyers can also opt for a bidirectional quick-shifter.
John Abraham and his love for Aprilia
The other major part of this TVC is the Bollywood actor John Abraham. As stated, he was named the brand ambassador of Aprilia India as he has been associated with it as a customer for a long time. He has owned a few RSV4s and also currently owns a Rs 32 lakh RSV4 Factory Ultra Dark.
This motorcycle comes equipped with a 1,099 cc longitudinal V4 engine. This motor is capable of producing 214 bhp at 13,000 rpm and delivering a peak torque of 125 Nm at 10,550 rpm. This engine has been optimized to offer impressive mid-range and top-end power.
