Man Opens Fire At Thieves Attempting To Steal His Motorcycle [Video]

A big problem in India is that there are a lot of thieves who steal cars and bikes and then sell them at a very cheap price to make money quickly. Now, generally, when a vehicle is stolen, the owner will go to the nearby police station and file a vehicle theft complaint, after which the police authorities might launch an investigation and find the vehicle. However, recently, a video went viral on the internet in which a man directly started shooting bullets at a few thieves who came to steal his bike.

This video of a man shooting at the thieves who were about to steal his bike has been shared on YouTube. In this short clip, what happens is that a man wearing a helmet comes on a bike and parks next to a car. He then starts walking towards a bike that was also parked on the side of the road.
Following this, he was joined by his associate, who stood next to him, and they both started to break the lock of the motorcycle. However, the owner of this particular bike was watching these thieves trying to steal the bike from his CCTV camera. Soon after, the owner came out and immediately started shooting bullets at these thieves.
It can be seen and heard in the video that this man fired two shots toward the thieves before they completely escaped. However, he did not stop there. After firing two shots, he fired two more shots, then picked up the cartridges and walked away from his office to the other side of the alley.
In India, laws around firearms are extremely strict, and people cannot keep guns without proper documentation and a license. Also, even if someone has a licensed gun, they cannot use it except in a situation where there is a threat to their life. In this particular scenario, thankfully, the bullets did not hurt any of the thieves.
This is because the person who shot the bullets did not end up hurting either of the thieves. He could have been charged under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code for attempted murder. He still can be charged under Section 336 of the IPC—causing danger to human life—as the rest of the shots could have hurt unsuspecting people on the road.
Last year in December, another video went viral on the internet. In this video, a man was seen entering a house and trying to unlock a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle with a key. However, after failing to unlock it, he was leaving. Unfortunately, little did this thief know that he was being watched by the owner of this bike from inside the house.
In the clip, the owner was seen coming out of the house and then following this man. After that, he caught the thief and started dragging him to the spot where there was a CCTV camera. Following this, he thrashed him by punching and kicking him on the ground. What happened next to this thief is unknown. However, it is believed that he was handed over to the police authorities by the owner of the bike.
