However, there was a time when Salman Khan used to freely move around Mumbai without any security. In those days, he could even be seen riding his superbikes on Mumbai roads as well. Recently, one such old and rare video of Salman Khan riding his Hayabusa has been shared online.

Salman Khan rides his Hayabusa in a rare video

This video of Salman Khan riding his beloved Suzuki Hayabusa has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of an account also named Salman Khan. In this short video clip, the actor can be seen cruising on Mumbai roads on his red Hayabusa superbike.

It can be noted that the Bollywood superstar was not wearing a helmet or any riding gear. As for the video itself, it was recorded by a few fans of the actor who were trying to chase him. In the video, we can see Salman Khan speeding off on his Hayabusa.

Salman Khan was gifted this Hayabusa by Suzuki

This particular Hayabusa, which Salman Khan was seen riding on the roads of Mumbai, was actually a gift. It was presented to him by Suzuki itself after they signed him as a brand ambassador for their Suzuki Hayate commuter motorcycle during the release of his movie Dabangg.

Suzuki Hayabusa

The Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the most iconic superbikes ever to be sold in India. Its craze skyrocketed after the launch of the movie Dhoom, starring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and others. The current generation of the Hayabusa comes equipped with a 1,340cc engine.

This in-line four-cylinder engine makes a maximum power of 190 PS and a peak torque of 150 Nm. At the moment, the standard variant of the Hayabusa is priced at Rs 16.91 lakh. Apart from this, the 25th Anniversary Edition of this superbike is priced at Rs 17.70 lakh.

Salman Khan also owns another Suzuki superbike

Apart from the Hayabusa, the Dabangg actor also owns a Suzuki Intruder M1800R. This particular motorcycle is finished in a lovely shade of blue with solid white stripes in the middle. As for the powerplant, this cruiser motorcycle comes powered by a 1.8-litre V-twin engine making 127 bhp and 160 Nm of torque.

John Abraham was gifted a Hayabusa by Shah Rukh Khan

In addition to Salman Khan, the popular Bollywood actor John Abraham is also a proud owner of a Suzuki Hayabusa superbike. This particular bike, however, was not bought by him directly. Instead, it was a gift to him from none other than the “Badshah” of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

During an interview, John Abraham revealed that after the success of their movie Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan invited John Abraham to the success party of the movie. However, as John Abraham is a very punctual man and lives a very healthy lifestyle, avoiding parties, he declined the invitation.

So, to make up for this, Shah Rukh Khan asked him if he wanted something. To this, John Abraham asked him to get him a superbike. So, following this conversation, John Abraham was delivered a silver Suzuki Hayabusa at his office, which he currently keeps with his other superbikes that he owns.
