Royal Enfield motorcycles have huge acceptance in India. The Indian manufacturer seems to have a bunch of interesting launches lined up for the new year. The company will likely launch the new Classic 650, Scram 440, Interceptor 750, Himalayan 750 and GT 750 in 2025. Let’s take a deep dive into these upcoming motorcycles.
Royal Enfield Classic 650
Royal Enfield unveiled the bigger Classic 650 alongside the Bear 650 in November last year. The market debut will happen sometime this year. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is powered by the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine that makes 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The motorcycle will come with 43mm Showa telescopic front forks, and not USDs. The rear shocks would offer 90mm travel. It would ride on 19/18-inch spoke wheels and have the signature ‘Classic’ design intact.
Scram 440
We know the Scram 411 as the Himalayan’s urban cousin. The motorcycle could launch in early 2025. It was showcased previously at the Royal Enfield MotoVerse in Goa. The motorcycle will get an improved engine with better bore size and refinement. The transmission on offer will be a 6-speed unit. It will be able to deliver likeable chunks of power and torque. The engine will, however, have minimal visual changes.
Interceptor 750
Royal Enfield is known to be working on a 750cc parallel twin engine. We’ve loved the 650cc engine on various motorcycles like the Interceptor, GT 650, Super Meteor and the Bear. The new engine will produce 5-7 bhp more than the outgoing engine, with its enhanced displacement. It will have better refinement, NVH and a mountain of torque. The new Interceptor will also come with 19-inch wheels and dual front brake discs- suggest spy shots. The new engine will make its way into more models in the upcoming time.
GT 750
The Continental GT 750 will also get the new 750 cc engine in the future. The new motorcycle will get proper retro cafe racer styling. It will have a new retro-style bikini fairing, unlike the previous bike. It will also have a race plate on the side panel, much like what you see on the Bear 650. The exhaust tips will also be new. The new GT 750 will offer more power and torque than the GT 650.
The new Contental GT 750 will also get a twin disc braking setup at the front. The suspension will consist of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The new GT will use 18-inch wheels, and will see the light of the day by the end of 2025.

We also have news that the Himalayan will get the parallel-twin engine in the future. Reports suggest that the BIG Himalayan will likely get the 750cc engine instead of the 650cc unit. The Himalayan 750 will have a more road-focussed approach. The Himalayan 450, on the other hand, is suitable for off-roading.
The Himalayan 750 will likely be a good tourer with an engine character that suits the same. In styling, the motorcycle will have a distinctive design. It will get a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Like the other 650cc motorcycles, the new Himalayan will also get a complete LED lighting setup, adjustable upside-down front forks (USD), a linkage type rear suspension, a large fuel tank that could potentially house 17-20 litres, axial Bybre front callipers, plastic/metal quarter-firing ( a first for Royal Enfield), a wide, adjustable windscreen, and rectangular mirrors.
