Udaipur Prince Lakshyaraj Singh India’s First Celebrity To Buy BSA Goldstar 650

he crown prince of Udaipur, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, has become a proud owner of the brand-new BSA Gold Star 650. The all-new bike from Classic Legends was delivered to the prince at his residence, City Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Apart from the BSA Gold Star, the prince also owns two Mahindra Thars and a Force Urbania.

The picture of the delivery of the BSA Gold Star 650 to Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar has been shared on Facebook by Zigwheels. In the picture, we can see the Prince of Udaipur being handed the key to his all-new BSA Gold Star 650 motorcycle. He has also commented on the post, “Thank you so much. Honour,” showing his gratitude for the bike.

2024 BSA Gold Star

Mahindra-owned Classic Legends, which owns BSA, last month launched the Gold Star 650 in India. This particular motorcycle has been launched with a starting price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh. The Gold Star 650 has been launched to compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

The retro tourer motorcycle comes with a cradle frame, telescopic fork, and twin shock absorbers. It gets a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, which looks very beautiful with chrome details. This bike comes in five colors. The Insignia Red and Highland Green are priced at Rs 2.99 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Midnight Black and Dawn Silver are priced at Rs 3.12 lakh. Lastly, the company has priced the Shadow Black color at Rs 3.15 lakh. In terms of features, the Gold Star 650 comes equipped with a twin pod, semi-digital instrument cluster, and a USB charger.

As for the powerplant of this motorcycle, it comes powered by a 652cc, 4-valve, DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor generates 45 bhp of maximum power and 55 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated with a five-speed gearbox. As per the company, this bike can reach a top speed of 160 km/h.

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar’s Garage

Being from the royal family of Udaipur, Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and his family have an extensive vintage car collection, which resides in the City Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Currently, the prince uses a white Range Rover from the previous generation as his daily driver. However, he has a few other modern vehicles in his collection as well.

New generation Mahindra Thar

Back in 2020, Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar was given the country’s first fully accessorized second-generation Mahindra Thar. This car, finished in the shade of red, was delivered to him at his residence in Udaipur. The car was sent via a trailer and unloaded at the main gate of City Palace. Later, the entire royal family gathered to complete the Hindu rituals and drive the Mahindra Thar.

Mahindra Thar 700

Just prior to the delivery of his second-generation Mahindra Thar, Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra himself gifted Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar a special Thar. Mr. Mahindra handed over the keys to the Mahindra Thar 700 limited edition to the prince. This particular SUV was finished in the lovely shade of Aquamarine Blue.

Force Motors Urbania

Apart from the Mahindra Thars, the prince also bought himself the brand-new Force Motors Urbania MPV. Force introduced the new premium Urbania brand recently. There was a ceremony for the delivery of the new vehicles that was done inside the compound of the City Palace. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar himself took delivery of the new arrivals in his garage.

Rolls Royce Ghost

Another hidden gem in prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar is his 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost Series 1. He owns this ultra-expensive luxury sedan finished in the classy shade of black. He once shared a picture of him sitting in the driving seat of this sedan.
