Woman Biker Harassed By 3 Men On Royal Enfield Bullet [Video]

Safety of women is a huge issue in India. Each and every day, we hear news of some perverted men harassing women in public and private spaces. In the most recent shameful news, it has been reported that three men riding on a Royal Enfield Bullet were harassing a woman rider in Kolkata. A video showing how one of these men created a bra out of a handkerchief and was waving it in the air while being beside the woman has been shared online.

Shameless men harass a woman bike rider

The video of this pathetic act has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. As mentioned, this video was shot by a woman rider who was out on a Sunday ride on her Bajaj Dominar motorcycle. As we can note in the video, she was riding on the Princep Ghat road early in the morning when three men on a Royal Enfield Bullet came right next to her.

As per the creator, these men were constantly overtaking her and then letting her pass. They did this for a while, and during this, the man sitting in the middle did a very shameless act. It was noted that he had torn his handkerchief and shaped it like a bra.

He was then seen spreading his hands over his head and waving this bra in the air. Also, while doing so, he was laughing and constantly staring at the woman rider. The other men were also seen staring and harassing this woman rider.

Have these men been arrested?

At the moment, there are no reports that have mentioned if an FIR has been filed against these perverted goons or not. However, most likely, these men will walk away, as most of the time police authorities take such crimes very lightly, which should never be the case. We hope that if this video becomes viral, Kolkata police could take action against these men.

Not the first time a woman rider has been harassed

As unfortunate as it may be, this is not the first time a solo woman rider has been harassed. Just a few months ago, another woman rider who was on a 30,000 km India tour was harassed by a man in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This woman rider shared a reel on Instagram in which she explained that when she reached Ajmer, she took her cat named “Hukum” on a walk so it could relieve itself.

Unfortunately, while her cat was relieving itself, a man suddenly came up to her and started hurling abuses at her. What was even more shocking was that this man even hit the cat and was about to hit the woman rider as well. Thankfully, she was not hurt during this altercation. It was then highlighted by her that she immediately went to a police station and filed an FIR against this man.

Soon after this, the man realized his mistake and immediately dropped to his knees and started begging for forgiveness. The kind-hearted woman then stated that as the elderly mother of this man and his wife also begged for forgiveness, she withdrew her complaint and forgave him. In the video, the mother of this man was even seen wiping the sweat off this girl’s forehead.
