Billionaire Yohan Poonawalla’s Lincoln Continental Convertible in images

Billionaire Yohan Poonawalla is a well-known automobile enthusiast and a car collector. His car collection is often referred to as the “YZP Collection”. One of his prized possessions is the 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible which has won Concours d’Elegance Trophy. Here, are some pictures of the rare Lincoln.

The pictures of the rare Lincoln Continental are shared on Instagram by carcrazy.india. The Instagram post says that the Continental originally belonged to his Holiness Pope Paul VI. In the pictures, you can see a special stand made where he can rest his stand. Pope later gifted the vehicle to Mother Teresa.

The Lincoln Continental that we see in the pictures is a 1964 model and is a convertible.  It is finished in a classic white colour which gives an evergreen look to the car. The interior is finished in red which gives a very premium appeal to the cabin.

He is also the Managing Director and Chairman of Poonawalla Engineering Group and holds prominent positions in various businesses of the Poonwalla family. He has an abundance of exotic and vintage cars. He also likes to customize his vehicles according to his preference.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is one of the last supercars in the world to still come with a naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine. It has a displacement of a massive 6.3-litres which has a maximum power output of 730 bhp and 690 Nm of peak torque. The F12 has now been discontinued and replaced with the 812 Superfast. Back when the F12 was new, it was priced around Rs. 4.71 Crores ex-showroom.

Ferrari 488 Pista Spider

The 488 Pista Spider is the latest Ferrari that was added to Yohan Poonawalla’s collection. He got the supercar in Rosso Corsa which is the Red international motor racing colour for Italy. There are three colours from Italy’s flag on the stripe. The 488 also comes with a custom plaque that says “Specially Built for Yohan Poonawalla”. It is powered by a 3.9-litre, V8 petrol engine that is twin-turbocharged. The engine is capable of producing a max power output of 720 HP and a peak torque of 770 Nm. The engine is mated to an F1 seven-speed Dual Clutch automatic transmission. The engine is known for its red line which is at 8,000 rpm despite being twin-turbocharged.

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 2

Rolls Royce is known to make the most expensive and luxurious vehicles. Here, is one of their vintage vehicles called Silver Cloud 2. The one on the right side was built between 1959 and 1962 and only 2,417 were built. The left one finished in white is even rarer. It is the long-wheelbase version of the Silver Cloud, only 258 examples were ever made.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

The SLS AMG is a very special car because it takes inspiration from the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Both vehicles are known for their gullwing doors. The SLS AMG comes with a 6.2-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that generates a maximum of 563 Bhp and 650 Nm of peak torque. It can hit a ton in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 317 kmph.

Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta

Ferrari 458 has made a special place in the hearts of people because of the sound of its naturally aspirated V8. The Speciale Aperta is a limited edition. It comes with a  4.5-litre V8 naturally-aspirated engine that generates a maximum power of 597 Bhp and peak torque of 540 Nm. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
